Wanderer Ch 19: A Sensless Attack

(Thalassa)

I reached out with my hand, eyes narrowing at the fleet before me. They were so small, so fragile—like grains of sand scattered in the void. I curled my fingers around one of the larger clusters of ships, feeling the tiniest resistance as they tried to maneuver away. But it was pointless. I closed my fist slowly, deliberately, savoring the power. One by one, the ships crumbled under the pressure, folding like paper beneath my touch.

A small smile tugged at the corner of my lips as I watched the tiny lights flicker out, their final moments silent in the vast emptiness of space.

But then, out of nowhere, flashes of light burst around my face. Bright energy blasts surrounded me, each one fizzling into nothing more than harmless little puffs of smoke as they made contact. They didn't sting or burn—they were more like annoying little taps against my skin.

"Annoying," I muttered under my breath, brushing the smoke away with a flick of my hand. They kept firing as if it would do something. Pathetic.

I glanced down and noticed a squad of ships hovering near my chest, their tiny forms trying to position themselves between the massive curve of my breasts. I could see them preparing to fire again, but I had other plans. I leaned forward just a little, letting the weight of my chest press into them. The pressure alone was enough to crush them instantly, the ships disappearing between the vastness of my body, their wreckage turning to nothing but dust.

With a satisfied sigh, I turned my head to the side, catching sight of yet another group of ships gathering in the distance. They had formed up, no doubt trying to find a weak spot to attack. I could see their glowing cannons aimed at me, preparing for another barrage.

Before they could fire, I pursed my lips and inhaled deeply, drawing in the very air of space itself. A cosmic wind surged through the vacuum, pulling the ships toward me with an irresistible force. I felt them resist, their engines burning hot as they tried to escape the pull, but there was no stopping it. One by one, they were sucked into my mouth, their tiny forms disappearing behind my lips.

With a quick gulp, they were gone, leaving nothing but the taste of metal on my tongue. I licked my lips, wiping away any trace of their existence.

Finally, I turned my gaze downward, back to the orange planet below. My eyes narrowed. This wasn't over yet.

They would learn that defiance had a price. A price I was more than happy to collect.

The ship trembled beneath my feet as I stared at the screen, the image burned into my mind—a massive titan, her golden eyes staring down at our planet like it was nothing. Like we were nothing. Her presence dwarfed everything I had ever known. My hands gripped the edge of the console, knuckles white, and my heart pounded in my chest.

Around me, the other Krugar soldiers weren't faring much better. Fear rippled through the crew like a virus, and I could see it in their wide, darting eyes. Some whispered prayers under their breath. I wasn't religious, but I found myself hoping, begging, that something would save us from this.

Then the commander's voice cut through the silence. "Attack! All units, fire!"

I swallowed hard, my mouth dry as sand. Attack? Against her? My hands shook as I watched the first wave of Krugar ships move in, their weapons trained on the titan. Explosions rippled across her body—flashes of light bouncing off her skin, her breasts, even a few strands of her hair. But it didn't matter. Nothing did. Every blast faded into nothing, like throwing pebbles at a mountain.

"Nothing's working," I whispered, barely realizing I'd spoken out loud.

The soldier next to me looked just as pale, his hands trembling over the controls. "What are we going to do?"

I had no answer.

And then... she moved. The titan, that thing, reached out with her hand, her fingers extending towards us like a predator's claws. I could see her eyes glowing, fierce and golden, casting a terrifying light across space.

"Move! MOVE!" I screamed, feeling the panic claw at my throat as the ship's thrusters roared to life. We barely escaped her grasp, but I watched in horror as the ships near us weren't so lucky. Her fingers clenched, and with a sickening crunch, at least twenty ships were obliterated—reduced to nothing more than twisted debris.

Around me, some of the crew started whispering. Whispers of abandoning ship, of escape pods, of getting the hell out of here. I couldn't blame them, but before anyone could act on it, the commander's voice rang out again, sharp and unyielding.

"Hold your positions! Continue the attack! There's no retreat!"

My throat tightened as I watched the titan's chest swell, her massive breasts shifting as she obliterated another wave of ships. Her sheer size—those waves of flesh, bigger than any mountain I'd ever seen—completely engulfed them. We didn't stand a chance.

"Group Delta, form up on the left side of her face! We'll hit her from behind!"

I snapped to attention, my hands moving automatically as I followed the order. Our ship joined the remaining fighters, circling around to the side of her head. We aimed for the back, hoping—praying—it would make some difference.

But then, as we fired, she turned.

Her eye... her eye... it filled the entire screen. It was all we could see. Golden, glowing, impossibly large. It was like staring into a sun, only this sun was alive, watching us. My breath caught in my throat, and for a moment, I couldn't move, couldn't think. My body locked up, frozen in terror.

"Is this it?" I thought. "Is this how it ends?"

And then... she pursed her lips.

The red sirens blared instantly, screaming in my ears as the ship lurched violently. The very fabric of space itself began to warp, as if being torn apart by some invisible force. My stomach twisted, and the air was filled with frantic shouts as we fought to regain control of the ship.

"She's sucking us in!" someone screamed.

I gripped the console, my heart hammering against my chest as the ship was pulled towards her, inch by inch, into the black hole that was her mouth. One by one, the other ships disappeared—sucked up like dust in the wind.

"Oh no... oh gods, no..." My voice cracked with fear, the words spilling out uncontrollably as the screen showed nothing but her gaping maw, our doom pulling us closer, closer.

There was no escape.
