The Shrunken Way Ch 4: (Cover Page)
(Author notes: A little bit of Masturbation)
(Yuna)
I don't know what's wrong with me.
I sit on the edge of my bed, my breathing uneven, fingers pressed against my knees. My body feels like it's burning from the inside out. Not from exhaustion—no, this is different. My skin hums, and even my aura flickers uncontrollably around me, and every breath I take only seems to make it worse.
I sat in the dirt with blood still drying on my skin, and I watched them die.
I didn't want to. Gods, I didn't want to.
But I didn't look away.

One after another, the men who'd stood beside me in that cage were dragged out, pushed forward, and sent to their deaths like cattle.
They screamed. They bled. They begged. Some fought hard. Some barely moved before the beasts tore...

I sank into the couch with a soft sigh, the cushion adjusting automatically to my mass, humming beneath me with energy resonance. I didn't relax though. Not really.
Because I could still feel it.
Scott's fear.
It was faint, residual, like a whisper left behind after the wind moved on. But it was there — and I hated that. I hated that he had to go through something so... violent. Even if it was necessary.

The sound of hammers striking metal had finally dulled into silence as the last rays of the sun bled through the tall, smoke-streaked windows. Kerren exhaled, letting the weight of exhaustion wash over him. His hands trembled slightly as he set down his sharpening stone, fingers blackened with soot and grit.
The last sword lay before him — once corroded and lifeless, now gleaming with a faint, almost golden sheen. He couldn't help bu...

2025-11-13 22:02:54 +0000 UTC View PostThe Darkness Devourer barely blinked as the storm of blue plasma rained against her skin.
It was nothing.
Tiny flashes of light. Fleeting heat. The sort of thing that might amuse her if she wasn't already drowning in fury. Each weapon discharge, each futile burst of energy against her body — it was like rain hitting an ocean. It didn't matter. None of it mattered.
Her violet eyes locked on the single speck of light darting through the chaos: the Neralian ship that dared to...

Ever since he was young, Phil always had a problem, a problem that has haunted him with a fear that he couldn’t control and now as years pass he will no longer be afraid, after all he has been accepted to an all boy university where all his phobias are a thing of the pass, but their seems to be a problem.

I stood on the vast, warm plain of Skylar's foot, staring up at her towering form. Even from this low angle, I could see the nervous expression on her face, her lips pressed into a tight line, her fingers fidgeting at her sides. It was kind of funny—she could literally end my entire existence with the slightest twitch, and yet she was the one looking anxious.

2025-11-12 15:50:59 +0000 UTC View PostThe rumble of the dojo floor still echoed faintly through the walls when I finally climbed down from the beam I'd been watching from. The air was thick with sweat and energy — the kind that lingers after titans clash, when the dust hasn't quite settled and even silence feels heavy.

From above, it had looked almost unreal. Yuna stood in the center of the floor, her aura fading away in slo...

Literal fire ran along his skin, dancing in waves of gold and crimson. It didn't hurt. In fact, it felt... good. A deep, soothing warmth spread through his whole body, like the world's softest blanket fresh out of a dryer.

"What is this?" he muttered, holding his palms up as sparks l...

Her flesh was soft yet firm, an expanse of warmth that pulsed faintly with a rhythm deeper than the sea. From the horizon, her body stretched beyond sight, a horizon of flesh-colored hills and valleys that curved with the shape of divinity itself.
Among the millions who walked her skin was a young Kethari named Orin. His hair s...

I collapsed onto my bed with a groan, face first into my pillow, the weight of the day pressing down on me like a cinder block. My feet ached, my back throbbed, and my dignity? Well, that had taken a serious beating somewhere between my third horrible tip and the fourth grope from a guy old enough to be my grandfather.
Working at a fast food joint was bad enough, but dealing with entitled customers and sleazy creeps made it feel like some kind of divine p...

I swear, if you had told me two weeks ago that I'd be riding an alien rollercoaster while seated in the lap of a godlike being inside a holographic forest that felt more real than actual forests back on Earth, I would've laughed, patted you on the shoulder, and suggested you get some rest.
But here I was—getting gently rocked in Kaida's lap as her seat moved beneath us, drifting through branches, soaring over rivers, ducking through dense canopies—all ...

The library had become my world.
For days now, it was all I'd seen — the endless rows of books, the towering shelves that seemed to scrape the ceiling, the smell of parchment and candle wax. I'd gotten used to it. Maybe even a little numb to it.
I was sitting at my desk again that morning, elbows buried in papers, staring at a thick tome filled with illustrations of the kingdom's p...
