Macro Furry Shifters ch 6: The Final

We sprinted ahead, not daring to glance back. My nieces, Aria, Maxon, and Aubry, raced beside me through a sea of onlookers treating us like some spectacle for their amusement.

Deep down, I knew a reckoning awaited those spectators. A deafening roar echoed, forcing us to our knees, the sound resonating through our beings.

Against my better judgment, I turned around, and regret instantly took hold. Once neighbors now turned monstrous, my family wreaked havoc, crushing and impaling those who once shared this neighborhood.

i shouted urgently  shouted. "We need to escape!" I yelled, my eyes wide, fixated on the colossal figures our family had become.

" This way!" I commanded, taking the lead, weaving through the crowd.

With no time to lose, I pushed myself up, pulling the kids along. The ground beneath us shook violently, nearly knocking us off balance, the force throwing us all to the ground again as my sister Valora smashed her lion like face into a house that sat a few feet from us, her roar deafening.

"Get up! Hurry!" I urged, yanking Maxon to his feet and into my arms.

"BOOM!"

We ducked for cover as my sister in law Lexie,  swept her tail throughout the neighborhood, swiping away houses, people, and vehicles in ease.

The air was filled with the desperate screams of innocent souls clinging to the wild hairs of Lexie's tail, only to plummet to the ground, leaving behind vivid red stains that marred the once serene neighborhood.

The air grew thick with the stench of death, causing me to choke and gag, struggling for a breath of fresh air.

I grabbed Aubry and Aria's hands, rushing toward a truck nearby.

"Hurry get inside!" I commanded, throwing Maxon onto the back, and helping the girls up.

Once everyone was settled, I started the truck, slamming the accelerator to the floor, and speeding off.

"we're safe, we're finally safe."

I mumbled, relief flooding my entire being.

But the peace was short lived as my nieces cried out in unison.

I glanced in the rearview mirror, and gasped.

Amidst the chaos, my eyes widened as I witnessed the transformation of Kurtis into a massive, muscular tiger, his feline form expanding before me. Yet, he wasn't alone in this metamorphosis; everyone around us underwent a similar change, their bodies taking on increasingly animalistic features.

As the surreal scene unfolded, an eerie, pure echo reverberated through the surroundings, causing the very truck I was driving to tremble. The disconcerting sound left us all momentarily frozen, exchanging bewildered glances.

"What the?" I uttered

The air thickened with heat as the colossal beasts circled, the very atmosphere pulsating with their primal energy. Beneath their immense weight, the ground crumbled like sand, surrendering to the instinctual dance of destruction.

Robin, the great wolf with a crooked smile, effortlessly lifted a house in her palm, watching it disintegrate as if it were nothing more than dust. Clifford, the aggressive shark, raised a massive foot, looming over the neighborhood before delivering a devastating slam that sent shockwaves tearing through everything in its path.

Valora, the golden lioness, her eyes gleaming with untamed energy, descended with a powerful thud, her rear creating a massive crater that devoured blocks of land. The horror unfolding seemed boundless, and Braden sensed it was only the beginning, a prelude to a cataclysmic transformation reshaping not only their bodies but the world itself.

Braden brought the truck to a halt, watching in both awe and dread as his colossal family advanced toward the nearest city, each step echoing with the impending horrors they might unleash.

A heavy silence filled the air as he contemplated the devastation unfolding before him. Deep down, he couldn't shake the concern for Grandma, a flicker of hope amidst the chaos.

"We need to find Grandma," he declared, the urgency in his voice cutting through the surreal stillness. The quest for family amid the monstrous transformation became a singular focus, a beacon of humanity amidst the colossal shadows cast by their once familiar kin.
