Super September

Hello everyone!

It's the first of the month, so you know what that means... it's time for the beginning of the month post! If you are unfamiliar with the beginning of the month post, it's where I go over all of the content that I am planning to put out on Patreon this month. A sneaky sneak preview of sorts, except it isn't really sneaky because I'm posting about it.

Anyway! It is Superb September, or, a September which is superb. I am into making the titles of these things happy and light as of late, mostly because it's motivating. I don't want to end up calling it Sleepy September because then I might just go ahead and sleep through the whole month, which would be pretty devastating...

Let's get into it! Starting with...

Game stuff. Yes, I know I said that it was the final final version of A Tiny Furry In A Huge World v1.3, but given that there's going to be a month between this and the first release of Vorevival, I've decided that I'll be adding a couple of extra scenes to the game. Goodness knows we've had enough content voids this year already when it comes to game things, so I'd like to stay in the habit of pushing something game-related out once per month!

What will these extra scenes be? Well, in a day or two, I will be opening a suggestion box where everyone (or at least, everyone in the $10 tier) can submit a suggestion. Said suggestion could be for anything, not just v1.3 related content! So get those ideas brewing. I will be adding three suggested scenes total to the game, and I will be picking them entirely based on whimsy, as in, I will just pluck out whatever feels the most fun at the time, rather than doing a lottery or whatever.

I will also be updating the in-game map with the gym area because I forgot to do that in the final release. It has also come to the attention that the in-game guide for Aimee Mode doesn't work either for some reason, so that will be getting fix'a'rooed too.

In the background, away from sight, I will be working on the first proper release of Vorevival. What's Vorevival? Well, I wrote a big post about it a couple of days ago - amongst other things - so go ahead and check that out if you're curious!

Story drops will be happening too, because of course they will!

Naturally I'll be uploading the next chapter of the book at some point, but I'll also be peppering in a few stories throughout the month. How many? Well, I'm not gonna give a precise number because I hate precise numbers! But there will be enough going on on the story front to sate your desires. Probably one every week or so, which actually puts a precise number of four there...

I'll be trying to get a varied batch of stories uploaded. What will those stories be exactly? You'll see, you'll see... I like surprising more than I like telling everyone about it before it even happens.

Next month will feature a pretty big vaguely Halloween-themed story being dropped that even has some art to go alongside it! I say vaguely Halloween-themed because it has a witch in it. I've been working on it for a little while and I'm super excited to show it off, but again, it's a next month thing, so... why am I talking about it here? I dunno, this section felt a little bit too short.

There will be a poll this month! The poll will not be about A Tiny Furry In A Huge World, but will instead be about something else. Specifically, I'll be doing a good old fashioned story poll where you get to choose a character and the vore type that'll feature in the story. So, technically that's two polls!

This is a bit of an aside, but also relevant: game polls will be resuming properly in November, or, when Vorevival has had it's first proper release. I am not sure how I am going to handle these yet other than that I want them - community input is a really cool thing - but, yes, they will be coming back, and they will influence the content that is going to be put into the game.

There's also that suggestion box coming up, but I've already spoke about that in a previous section and there's no need to repeat myself more than I already have by bringing it up in the first place. So was this paragraph just an excuse to cram an extra paragraph in here so that there's three paragraphs instead of two? Yes, absolutely, three paragraphs in a section tickles my brain more than two. Humans - and foxes - love groups of three, it's been proven by science at this point. Or at least, I think it has...

Mental health check! I am doing pretty good. If I said I was doing completely good then that would be a lie, because everything that has happened this year takes a toll upon the psyche whether I want it to or not. I've definitely gone back into being reclusive and keeping away from social media and other such social apps, but that is something that I am hoping to solve this month because, you know, being social is very important. As much as I like hiding my head away it's not something that is productive in the long-term in the slightest...

Toll on my psyche aside, though, I have a lot to be excited about my immediate future. I am very much looking forward to tearing back into game development and bringing all of my cool ideas to life - slowly but surely - and making a new game is probably the best way of doing this. Already in the past few days I've made a lot of progress on Vorevival.

I am also getting my mojo back when it comes to writing! Writing, as in, writing stories or scenes or anything else related to that, has been fairly difficult over the past few months, but in August I had a pretty big breakthrough with that and I've come to really enjoy putting pen to paper once again. The escapism is nice, and immersing myself in a story of my own creation has been especially pleasant as of late, so, beside programming, I am very much looking forward to writing too.

I think that will do for the beginning of the month post! I hope you're all excited as I am for what's coming up next. My next post will be that suggestion box thing that I am now mentioning for a third time, but this time not as a justification for an extra paragraph, merely just a closer. I'll see you all in a day or two with that!

Thank you for sticking with me for another month! I wouldn't be able to do this without my lovely community being behind me. Stay safe, and I'll see you all soon!
