Wanderer Chapter 10: The Threats Of Silver

The sky was filled with chaos as two massive celestial beings floated beyond the clouds, one with brown hair and the other with black.

Their eyes were locked onto the planet below, cold and without sympathy.

"Do you really believe these meager beings will be able to tell us anything about our target?" Eclipsa said with a small smirk, focusing her gaze on the panicked little aliens below before looking at her little sister, Thalassa.

"They should at least be able to tell us the home planet of the bastards who took my ship," Thalassa said, crossing her arms over her chest.

Thalassa brought her face closer to the planet's surface, inhaling its air, sucking up a few clouds and people without even knowing.

"You have one chance," she said with a smile. "Tell me the location of your greatest enemy, the ones you would go to war with," she said, looking down as her eyes began to glow with power.

In the heart of the city, a towering structure of silver stood tall, known as the Tower of Argoth. Within its gleaming walls, the great seer, Xalix, and a council of leaders gathered to discuss the dire situation unfolding before them.

The room was filled with tension as Xalix, with his shimmering silver robes and piercing eyes, addressed the council. "We are witnessing an unprecedented disaster. Entire regions have been swept away by raging winds, and cities have vanished into the nostrils of these colossal beings."

Councilor Mirak, with a grave expression, spoke up. "What enemy are these giants talking about? We have no time to waste. We must decipher their demands before our world is completely destroyed."

Elder Varek nodded in agreement. "We need to think carefully. Who among our adversaries could provoke such a wrath? Who is our greatest enemy?"

Xalix closed his eyes, deep in thought. "There is only one possibility. The Krugar Kingdom. They have been our fiercest rivals for centuries. These beings must be referring to them."

Councilor Nara leaned forward, her eyes wide with realization. "If they want the Krugar Kingdom, we must consider our options. Do we sacrifice our enemies to save ourselves?"

The room fell silent as the weight of the decision pressed down on them. Xalix finally spoke. "We must send a delegation to these giants and offer them the information they seek. It is our only chance for survival."

As the council members nodded in agreement, Xalix turned to his advisors. "Prepare the message. We will tell them where to find the Krugar Kingdom. May the stars have mercy on us all."

The fate of their world now hung in the balance as the council scrambled to comply with the demands of the celestial giants, hoping their desperate act would spare their planet from further destruction.

Eclipsa sat back as space itself cushioned her body. She looked at her little sister, still waiting for a reply from these speck-sized beings.

"So soft," she thought to herself as she began to smirk.

"What?" Thalassa said, turning toward her sister.

"Oh, nothing," Eclipsa said with a small laugh as she began to sit up and inch closer to the blue and silver planet.

"How about we send these little things a message to let them know we are serious?" Eclipsa extended her finger outwards and, with a smirk, began to carve her digit through the planet's surface.

Down below, the citizens of Gelmud were living their daily lives, unaware of the impending doom. Suddenly, the sky darkened, and a massive shadow fell over the land. People looked up in terror as a colossal pillar descended from the heavens, carving through the surface of their world. Cities crumbled, and entire blocks of earth and buildings were trapped in the canyons of flesh that made up the massive finger.

The destruction was immense. The finger, miles and miles long, cut through the clouds as it moved, creating massive, deep trenches that led to magma deep below. The ground quaked violently, and the air was filled with the sound of buildings collapsing and people screaming.

Xalix stood on top of a silver spire, his eyes wide with horror as he watched the massive pillar carve through the ground. The finger moved with terrifying speed, crushing everything in its path. Cities were reduced to rubble, and the landscape was scarred with deep trenches filled with molten rock.

As the finger approached, Xalix felt the ground beneath him shake violently.

The buildings around him began to crumble, and he struggled to keep his balance. He looked up in terror as the massive skin-colored pillar loomed closer, blotting out the sky.

The last thing he saw was the endless expanse of flesh slamming into his body, ripping it apart. The city was obliterated, and the once bustling metropolis was reduced to nothing more than a deep, smoldering trench.

Back in space, Eclipsa smiled as she watched the destruction unfold below her. "That should get their attention," she said, glancing at Thalassa.

Thalassa nodded, her eyes still glowing with power. "Let's see if they are willing to talk now," she said, her voice filled with cold determination.

Eclipsa smirked as she brought her finger up to her face, the digit filled with dust and the remnants of cities. She watched her sister, amused, as she stuck her finger into her mouth and sucked it clean.

"Did you really have to do all of that?" Thalassa asked, crossing her arms as she observed Eclipsa's display.

"You want a quick response, this is how we do it," Eclipsa said with a giggle.

Thalassa rolled her eyes. "I don't think..." She stopped talking as a silver light began to shine in space. A silver craft emerged from the planet's atmosphere, heading toward them.

The ship, though tiny compared to the colossal sisters, was elegant and advanced, its surface gleaming in the starlight. It hovered cautiously before them, broadcasting a message in the same alien dialect Thalassa had heard before.

Eclipsa looked at her sister, raising an eyebrow. "Seems like they're ready to talk."

Thalassa nodded, her eyes narrowing as she focused on the tiny craft. "Let's see what they have to say."
