The Prod Woman Ch 20: Journey To City A
Added 2024-08-19 19:33:18 +0000 UTCIt didn't take much effort for Travis to pass through the gates that protected the United Territories.
The guards didn't say much as he walked through the gates. In fact, he wasn't even sure that the massive giants were even aware of his existence as he walked past their giant boots. They said nothing, so he continued to walk through the gate, trying to hide his fear to the best of his abilities.
Molly watched from afar as Travis made his way past the gate. Soon, he was out of sight entirely. She had given him all the information he would need, but she still hoped that it would be enough.
"Have a good day," Molly said with a small smile.
Travis stopped walking and looked at the crowds of people that surrounded him. There were people of different sizes all lined up in different areas. It amazed him to see such a crowd.

"Where am I supposed to go?" Travis asked, looking around.
It was then that he saw a small crowd of Lilliputians between the massive crowds of Gulliverians and Brobdingnagians, all forced to maintain their distance by metal poles with thin chains connecting them.
"Okay, let's see. I think I'm going to city A," Travis said, thinking about Molly's instructions.
Travis looked up at the yellow sign that rested a few feet above his head. The sign listed cities A through Z, and with every city, there was a corresponding line that went further into the city.
"T-this is too much..." Travis said as his legs began to wobble. "I-I can't do this..."
Travis could feel his vision become blurry as his body began to wobble back and forth. In his mind, he could hear the screams of people he knew were long gone. He could hear the crumbling of buildings and the heat of flames that burst to life as a towering shadow hovered over the land.
"No..." Travis whispered as his body began to fall backward, only to come to an abrupt stop by something warm and soft, and seemingly familiar.
"Huh?" Travis said, looking back at what seemed to be massive fingers.
"You okay?" he heard from above.
He slowly looked up and saw a massive woman who looked to be around his age, bent over him. She had long blonde hair tied in a ponytail and wore casual clothes: an orange shirt with an unrecognizable brand in the middle, along with baggy dark green pants with a lot of pockets.

She looked down at Travis with a worried look. Travis caught his breath as he looked at her. She wasn't big enough to be called a Brobdingnagian, so she could only be one thing: a Gulliverian.
"You okay?" the giant repeated as she allowed Travis to continue to rest on her hand.
"Gabby, what's going on?"
Travis, hearing another voice, this one more manly, pushed against the massive fingers and stood up straight. He turned to see another Gulliverian walking towards the girl who was still bent down looking at Travis.
"You know we aren't allowed to leave our assigned lines," the man said as he looked down at Travis with a worried look.
"Look, I'm just making sure this guy is okay," the girl called Gabby said as she glanced back at her friend.
"Um..." Travis said, wiping the sweat from his forehead. "Sorry, I'm okay." He smiled up at the blonde-haired Gulliverian.
"Well, that's good," the girl said, standing up to her full height. "Last thing we need is for a Lilliputian to get hurt; the guards might think we did it."
Travis didn't say anything as he watched the two Gulliverians walk away.
"You be careful, little guy," the girl said, waving down at Travis.
Travis watched as both Gulliverians disappeared into the crowd of fellow giants.
"I think her name was Gabby," he muttered to himself.
He took a deep breath and looked around again, trying to get his bearings. The area was bustling with activity, and the towering figures moving about were overwhelming. Despite the initial shock, he knew he had to find his way.
"City A," he reminded himself, looking up at the signs again.

With renewed determination, he started making his way toward the line for City A. The sight of other Lilliputians in the crowd gave him a small sense of comfort. He wasn't alone in this sea of giants.
As he approached the line, he noticed a few other Lilliputians were also heading in the same direction, a few looking just as apprehensive as he felt. Travis took his place in line and waited, trying to calm his nerves.
"Here goes nothing," he whispered, ready to face whatever came next.
