Ending Interest Poll

Hi everyone!

Just a quick poll here to gauge interest on something that I've been wondering about.

In A Tiny Furry In A Huge World/A Tinier Furry In A Huger World, how do you approach endings?

Do you actively seek them all out to see the majority of the content?

Do you avoid certain endings (whether they're squicky or because they're personally boring) but look at them sometimes anyway out of curiosity?

Or do you only ever look at the endings within a certain niche or two? As in, for example, you only go for oral vore or paw endings?

Naturally, we all approach content differently, so any of these approaches (or indeed, any other) is completely valid.

I'm conducting this survey for two reasons. One is personal curiosity. Two is that it will help me understand how much of a warning I need to put up/how much I need to allow people to 'cheat' during certain scenes that might involve RNG.

To give a very loose example, a macro grabs you, and there might be a possibility that they'll stuff you in one of four places at random. Maybe the player has influence on this - maybe they don't - but either way, it wouldn't be exactly clear what ending they'd get. Some people might be okay with this, others might not be. As a result, it might be important for me to make it so that the player can 'cheat' and pick where they want to be stuffed, thereby removing the random element entirely. Or, depending on how the poll goes, it might be a bad idea to put too many - or any - of these segments in the game.

I will have a more game relevant poll up tomorrow! EDIT: Actually, expect to see it on the weekend, along with a commission (a big 'un) Been feeling a touch under the weather this week, so, little bit behind. Only a little bit!

Happy voting!

I look at most of everything in a text adventure! There are only a few things I avoid: usually with kinks I do not expect will show up in Tiny Furry. (Parasitic infestation, as an example.) I think about the RNG question a lot too! While my game has warnings, I feel that it sometimes takes away the surprise of where a scene leads. I once considered making a "tag" system accessible by the options menu. If a scene has a tag that's turned off (let's say AV) then the scene is either censored, skipped, or rerouted to another scene.

Definitely an all endings player myself, the structure of the game helps with going back and seeing every choice's outcome since you put in a redirect back whenever you hit an ending. One solution I can think of is an optional feature to have the fetishes contained in the next section of an option be specified in the option itself. For example, "Approach Hart (AV/Opt Disposal)", "Keep approaching the obviously dangerous dog (OV/Digest/Opt Disposal)" or "Bait the DP (ToD Combo)". Might be a bit of a bitch to implement those, though.

When I played a Tiny Furry In a Huge World, I was interested to get all the endings after having the one that I was the most satisfied with. Later on, I continued to seek for more endings and even find some nice details or references. The story was sure the most important thing that made me continued to read and play the game in the first place. Cheating is one thing when you want to enjoy something that you already saw in the first place, but cheating just to have the ending that you want even tho, there is a lot of other endings, it's kinda pointless to me. You should use cheat only when you already completed the game for the first time. That's mostly why having a walkthrough for this kind of game is cool, ONLY, after you completed it with the ending that pleased you and, you at least try to enjoy other things in it. The writer did put a lot of work in it, at least read a minimum the story and try to have some fun to search other endings. Of course, some people does not like the hardcore stuff or even just specific ending with AV/UV. So cheating to not have this kind of endings can be comprehensible but as you already say it, you had put a thing that disable the hardcore stuff so there is no reason to try and cheat. Overall, trying to seek all the endings is fun for me and using cheat is cool only after completing the game with the ending that please you the most, in my opinion.

I love the random chance element, but as a gay man, I do my best to avoid female interaction in general. So, my answer is I seek out all ending of all kinks, so long as it’s male centric... female things just make me uncomfortable, so I skip over them for the most part πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Tbh, for me, with a game like this, I'd love to seek everything out. No cheat cause it's kinda the fun of being a micro. You get what you get, even if you don't like it. It also gives more worth to the adventure I think. Going through a story decided by fate is more fun than a story laid out by your own will. But it can also be super frustrating if you are missing something and for fucks sake can't find it >.< Can I ask what people would think of codes? Like for each ending a little code, and in the main menu a code machine where you enter said code to get/re-read the ending? Like this, the people who want to seek them out could work for it and the people who don't can go online and look them up in the manual. I think with the not-so-nice stuff, stuff that you don't wanna see, that should be taken care of by the prompts at the start anyways so no need to worry about that.
