Posting Certain Commissions About Those Monsters In Balls That Like To Battle Sometimes

Bit of a weird flash poll tonight.
As some of you may be aware, a certain gaming company in Japan has been cracking down on pornography that's related to their top franchises. While I don't write anything related to most of these franchises (very often) there is a certain franchise that I do write a lot for.
What is that franchise? Again, I'm avoiding being specific because people have had their Patreons temporarily disabled due to this franchise, but ... it involves monsters that you can fit inside a pocket sized ball that are your friends but you also battle with them.
It might seem dumb that I'm worrying about this, but I don't want to end up getting myself into a legal battle with a giant corporation and I certainly don't want my Patreon to be impacted by anything like a DMCA. I'm pretty sure that there are different legal rules when it comes to art and writing fanworks (if anyone is familiar with these laws and can assure me that writing falls under a different category then I guess this is all dismissed) but ultimately by posting these commissions here I am profiting from their property and I guess that could embroil me in a legal battle.
Since I write a fair amount of comms in this franchise (got one in the works currently) and I like to share them here (because everyone loves this franchise, myself included, despite lawyers) I have come up with a solution.
Since a lot of these monsters are comparable to animals anyway, I could just change the name of ... say ... that popular fire dog to something that makes it clear that it is the popular fire dog. This would be a pretty simple case of just CTRL+F'ing certain words and replacing them.
When I later post these works to FurAffinity or wherever, I can then post the actual versions since I'm pretty sure at that point it's fair use and fuck you and all that, so ... yeah!
The alternative is to not post the works at all. I'd rather not do this! But I've put it there as an option anyway.
If this poll passes I will post a commission preview tonight that will adopt this format because it's about those silly monsters that like to battle!
EDIT: I'm actually gonna let the poll sit until about 9PM EST on Feb 4th (today) and post up the preview then. Sorry for any confusion

God I hate stuff like this. It always gives me 1984 vIbes. I think the easiest would be to just not post em here. Patreon has nothing to do with your commissions, and what you upload here is up for you to decide. It's not like you're obligated to post them and doing so just seems to bring up complications and possible danger. Don't know if this would work or be any better, but you could make a big google drive folder or something similar with all your commissions and each month put the link in here?

2021-02-04 01:30:21 +0000 UTCYeah, FA seems to be fine! I think at that point it's non-profit so it's no worries. Don't need to change anything there, and I doubt that anyone will target this Patreon from any company, but it's just better to be safe than sorry, you know?
