"I Know Where I'm Going"~Good Omens S2 Ep3FULL Reaction

Just a little correction I misread the year as 1827 as 1927 so ignore me when I keep talking about the 1900s lol

I think the trouble he got in (Crowley) was the reason he wanted holy water which really made me shiver. Crowley is an eternal optimist at heart but he was scared after whatever happened down there.

Anais Winter

A wee point of speculation - did you notice that the yellow colour on the Bentley (as well as on the walls and pillars in the bookshop) is very similar to Crowley's eye colour? Maybe that is why Aziraphale thinks the colour is so pretty? ... Also, the surgeon Mr Dalrymple is played by Sean Biggerstaff, who was the Gryffindor quidditch captain in the early Harry Potter films.

In this case when he says Mason I believe he means like the freemasonswhich is a fraternal order

Elisa H.

I find it kinda surprising you don't watch doctor who.

Elisa H.

I don't think I've seen anyone else point this out, but neither of the main two actors are actually English, despite both characters sounding English. David Tennant is Scottish and Michael Sheen is Welsh. It always amuses me highly that both of them are doing English accents for this show, but they both do a great job at it.

Oz

BTW I can't believe no one has recommended this yet but they actually released a baby audio short with Crowley and aziraphale during lockdown showing how they dealt with pandemic isolation, highly recommend watching before your next reaction: https://youtu.be/quSXoj8Kob0?si=7vGZUlukSWfBqP9v

lol that too

Except that the bartender mentions the lodge next door. Actual stonemasons don't normally meet in a Lodge but Freemasons do.

"...and Gabriel " ๐Ÿ˜… yes?

Miriam 090985

I also heard that some parts from in the tumb were made up from David Tennant, like the singing of the flower of Scotland ( that's why the odd look from Michael Sheen ๐Ÿ˜…) and the "Where are you?" While walking in the graveyard shortly before he gets sucked down to hell, where unscripted but so perfect in that situation, so they left it in!๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜

Miriam 090985

Ever noticed that Aziraphale started wearing Tartan in some form AFTER 1827! ๐Ÿค” I think it is als Remembrance of what happened there in Scotland.

The Masons are a religious group. Very secretive. Kind of cult-y.

Kieran Hunter

well no the free masons were first created by a bunch of masons as what was originally like an early workers union that changed over time and became very secretive when you say mason you can mean free mason but mason is the originating term and might have nothing to do with the free masons

SK- Eferthigra

You should watch Doctor Who

Void Weaver

Glad I could help ๐Ÿ˜‚

THATS WHAT IT WAS!!!! Thank you it was bothering me

Morgan Reacts

The graveyard scene is both hilarious and heartbreakingly ominous to me: Crowley gets dragged to hell in 1827, Az mentions he didn't see him for quite some time and the next time they meet (as far as we know, anyway) is 1862 when Crowley asks for holy water for 'insurance'. So, potentially up to 35 years in hell after doing a good deed (kind of explains why he has such a volatile reaction to Az calling him good).

Also I missed it in my initial post but Crowley casually stopping time for Azi because he asked is always so precious.

Katiefrog217

this was super fun to watch! (also i could send you some weed if you need it - JK!!!) lol

Ash Vander

It would be kind of funny though if Gabriel had been meeting with a literal stonemason in order to build a new monument to himself.

-N-

Wow I didnโ€™t know that. Yeah that definitely adds perspective

ShadowDust

I believe the word you were looking for is desecrating. Which is very similar to defacing so makes sense why you went there.

ShadowDust

You mentioned how Crowley trusts Aziraphale so much to let him drive the Bentley, but also vice versa, Aziraphale trusts Crowley so much to leave him in charge of the bookshop. :)

Muriel is so cute! Like a person I like once said:" Angels are a) total assholes or b) the cutest thing you ever seen!"

Miriam 090985

A couple notes: the yellow Bentley matches Crowley's eyes. And the "poison" is laudanum which is a sedative derived from opium, which also is where we get heroin and morphine. It is poison in large doses. So Crowley was basically just super high.

God I love the start to this episode. Watching Azi's gentle concern for Muriel is such a treat haha. And don't worry Morgan, this episode made us all a little frustrated with Azi, but that's part of character development. Someone already clarified about the Free Masons, so I just want to add that Jimbriel is quoting something directly in this episode (besides the "Every Day it's getting closer). It's not exactly a secret what he's quoting, and it's not spoilers for anything, but I'll leave it to you to find (or mention it on the last episode if it hasn't come up by then). Great reaction, looking forward to the fun next week!! :)))

Katiefrog217

Your Good Omens reactions have been so entertaining, Morgan! I like your personal style of reaction, not being afraid to pause and discuss the show occasionally, etc. โ€œPatientlyโ€ waiting for the rest of the season! Thanks for the quality content ๐Ÿ’œ

Emily M

Mason is short for Free Mason an almost cultist brotherhood thats very secretive, I'd look up what they wear on camera because u might have thoughts about why Gabriel met with one of them ๐Ÿ‘€

Emily Thouless

I was gonna head to bed, decided to check to see if this dropped and here it be, I know exactly what Iโ€™m doing for the next 1 hour 25 minutes and 43 seconds
