Hi, This is muchi.
I had the chance to visit Expo 2025, currently being held in Osaka, Japan.
Fortunately, Osaka is relatively close to where I live, so I decided to take the plunge and go.
I was able to see the Italian exhibits I mentioned in a previous post.
I was surprised at how close I could get to the works and how thoroughly I could take them in.

Da Vinci’s schematics were understandably more protected, but that only proves how special they are.
And it seems Italy is planning to showcase even more incredible artworks in the future!
Since I bought a full-pass ticket, I guess I have no choice but to go again…!
Of course, I’ve only seen a fraction of what the Expo has to offer, but it was definitely worth the visit.
There are so many countries in the world, and I was reminded of how little I truly knew about them.
More than that—I realized I wasn’t even aware of how much I didn’t know.
In fact, I found myself deeply fascinated by the pavilions of smaller nations, even more than the flashy exhibits from the big players.
Just learning the design of a flag or seeing a modest cultural display was enough to grab my attention.
There are still so many national pavilions I haven’t visited yet, so if you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear them!
