Paul's Story Chapter 8

This chapter dragged on quite a bit for me. It mainly delivers a lot of emotional growth for the MC, as well as some traumatizing events that he needs to deal with.

This was basically as hard to write for me as when I wrote about Tess' death in Tiny Tim, because I know full well that each person will have their own way of dealing with experiences like that. So, the danger of someone wanting to rip me a new one for "portraying it wrong" is real.

Please tell me if you disagree...

And Chapter Seven is done. Hope you enjoy.

As always, feel free to let me know if you didn't :D

Paul's Story Chapter 6

And Chapter 6 is done.

I'm a little unsure about the pacing in this Chapter, but I hope it doesn't feel rushed.

Please feel free to tell me otherwise!

Paul's Story Chaper 5

Finally, Chapter 5 is done so far. I was a little worried that it might got too boring, but I think the end (of the chapter before the interlude starts) should make up for that. There was just too much I needed to set up for later developments.

I hope you enjoy!

I'm not gonna write for a few days

I have just been informed that I will be out of town for the entirety of next week. These work-trips are usually rather unpleasant, so I don't think I'm gonna get much creative work done.

Instead, I'll just install Grammarly and get started on the edited version of Tiny Tim.

Paul's Story - Chapter 4

Chapter 4 is done.

I'm now about halfway through the story. At least when it comes to the plot points I laid out beforehand. How much the rest is gonna be when I actually write it... no idea. Probably more than the 125 pages I have so far for the first half.

Nonetheless, I decided to use this opportunity to get most of the editing done for what I have so far, which is why this chapter is posted separately. I hope you understand.

Paul's Story - Chapters 1-3

*EDIT*

Attached a newer version.

*EDIT END*

And here's chapter number three. It slowly starts go get juicy now.

I'm not particularly happy with it, though. Especially the interrogation scene. I would've rather written that as a kind of flashback, where we learn about what happened before the story started from Yvette's POV, but I had a lot of trouble working Paul's questions and thoughts into that.

I'm most likely gonna change that moving forward. It also feels a...

AI Cover Art - Yes or No?

So, I played around with AI Image Generators, and I found one that was capable of turning doodles into actually recognizable images. So, I played around some more, trying to get a depiction of the Family from "Tiny Tim" as they existed in my head. At least more or less, that is.

Now, the result is the image you see above, and I'm on the fence with using something like this as a Cover for a book.

On one hand, it gives me the opportunity to provide readers with an actual idea of how...

Paul's Story Ch. 1&2

Sorry this took so long. It required a lot of research on my part, and I found myself run into a few problems. Mostly, I was afraid of simply writing another version of Tiny Tim whenever there were any similarities between those two characters.

Consequently, I wrote and then threw out a good sixty paged of text, before I finally decided that it was stupid.

So, yeah, sorry again. The next chapter should be out a lot quicker.

Paul's Story - RAW Chapter 1

As planned, here's the raw first chapter for the new story.

Please keep in mind that this is prone to undergo changes as I write the story to completion.

I hope you like it, but feel free to let me know your thoughts on it. Since I can incorportate changes until the story is actually finished, now would be the best time to let me know about any grievances that might pop up as you read it.

Yeah... I made a patreon account, and I'm uncomfortable about it.

So, I think it would be quite the understatement if I say that the general reception to my first story was a little overwhelming. I write about what I know, and mainly to get it out of my head. "Tiny Tim" was the first story I felt even remotely comfortable enough with to publish.

I don't know if my writing deserves anyone's monetary support, but I was asked to open a patreon, so I did. And, yes, I basically copied the tier-list I saw another author use, because I suck at placing a mone...
