In the area where I live, the Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms—arguably the most beloved variety in Japan—have already fallen, and now the later-blooming cherry trees are starting to bloom. These are beautiful in their own way as well.
My hay fever symptoms have almost completely disappeared, so I should finally be able to focus on work.
…I should be able to concentrate, right!?
Meanwhile, Japan is hosting the Expo in Osaka.
While it may not be perfect, it seems to be shaping up into a very fascinating event.
The number of international visitors has noticeably increased, too.
I’d like to visit myself, but I’m not great with big crowds—so I’ll probably wait until things quiet down a bit before going.
Apparently, there will be food from all around the world gathered in one place, so I’d love to try some of the dishes recommended from your home countries!
Even within a single country, food can vary a lot from region to region… I’d love to hear your suggestions!
