raven and the lilly new page 1
Added 2018-09-10 00:06:22 +0000 UTCso my dad is one of the people helping me with critiquing and polishing raven and the lilly. one of the things that we went over was about the contract of non aggression that raven is suppose to be presenting to the sea god, was not very clear as to what was really going on so we came up with a new first page.
i spent a lot more time posing and rendering this page. useing the line work button in blender to do most the heavy lifting for the back ground stuff. i also used it on the characters to see if that would make my work flow a little more efficient.
i can already see some corrections i want to do but so far everything looks pretty good. all the rendered color layers are invivible right now but there is more then enough information in them that any corrections won't mess up my work flow

i am not the best at dialogue so the first few iterations will be very cringey

2018-09-12 18:29:18 +0000 UTCOh, what was happening was very well clear (see previous comment of mine about the scroll) Buuuuut.... you know, when what one needs to know are <b>THE ACTUAL WRITTEN WORD CONTENT!</b> then yes, dialogue might juuuuuuste be a teensy tiny bit needed. π

2018-09-10 10:56:45 +0000 UTCone thing told to me by both my college professors and other artistic friends is that if you cannot tell what is going on in the story with out dialogue, then most the time you need to refine your story. so hopefully this page will make it clear even without dialogue ;)
