Law School - Progress update #17

Hello everyone, after two weeks without giving updates on Law School I come with a lot of news.
First of all, I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas and New Year's eve, may 2024 bring you happiness, health and success in whatever it is you do.

I cooked up those two images but forgot to prepare the post at the proper time twice, so there you have it now!

Mixing The Entrepreneur and Law School is pretty nice, isn't it?

Now, let's talk about the progress made on Law School.

December has been a crazy month for me, I can't believe that it's already been a month since the release of the Demo of Law School.

Between the release of the demo, the winter sale of The Entrepreneur, my birthday, family and friends time, my unexpected 4 days spent in France, I feel like time flew by way too quickly.

And it shows, as I didn't make as much progress as I would have liked to.

My goal was to finish DAY 5 in game by the end of December, and as it stands right now, I still have two "big" scenes to create, so probably another 4-5 days of work. That means I'm already a week late on what I scheduled.
It's not a big deal, as I can always make outstanding progress in the few next weeks, but I'm kind of bummed.

Anyway, the show must goes on, and I try not to think about it and get back to working as good and as much as I can.

So far, here's what I made:

2014 story statics
41 animations
39 scenes have been fully written

While I was away I wrote a bunch of scenes, and all that's left to write now is 4 scenes. Two of them are fairly big and important ones, and I can't wait to write them.
We also reached the 2000 milestone of story statics, and that feels pretty good. I'm not so sure I'll reach 3000, but we'll see, since I still have a lot of renders I haven't created for the roaming event or the minigames.

Anyway, that was it for today's progress update.

I would like to thank you all for your support throughout 2023, it's been a crazy year for me, and seeing the community excited helps me push forward.
I look forward to 2024, and I hope you do to.

See you soon,

MisterMaya
