For ASMRs, there are three key rules: Not too much, not too loud and be enticing in the first 30 seconds. A lot of ASMRtists always start with a "hey" in the first seconds so listeners can immediately tell by the voice and quality if they should keep listening.

I'll be more careful with that - I thought since it's at the beginning it's not as bad, but it still makes sense! - That was on purpose, thinking of how the hairstylist quickly and abruptly removes excess hair on your neck -- but I understand, it probably could be distracting. - I'm sorry about the strange background sounds <3 some of the sound effects are from pixaby, but I didn't notice the guitar sounds myself. Thank you for pointing it out!!

Let me hire you as my personal stylist pretty please :)..haha seriously though this is amazing as always i love how much you are branching out to many things, im 100 % sure you can ace every type of audio out there! Combined with your heavenly voice, it will...as always be perfection! And if theres any ambient audio thats gets "accidently" caught that just more so adds to the charm of the audio peiece! Like loving accidents..which i dont see them as such.

This story also reminds me that I should soon find a stylist myself. My hair is past shoulder length already. When it comes to the sound design, I have a few things: - Be careful with loud beeping and ringing sounds. Sounds like that are the most disruptive kind of sounds and can easily wake up the listener. And waking up the listener after they fell asleep is the one of worst things an ASMR can do. - Be careful that the brush sounds (here at 19:00) aren't too abrupt and quick. These easily can get too loud and disruptive. - The sound design at 3:00 is weird. I hear cicadas and the washing felt very distant with audible cuts. It feels out of place compared to the other sounds you made yourself. For example, the comb and the blowing sound amazing. - I don't know if I'm hallucinating, but throughout the whole ASMR, I hear occasional guitar notes.
