Added 2024-03-18 21:00:03 +0000 UTCReoccuring characters are pretty neat and cool.. but planning them is not so easy, i'd say. So today i'm discussing the ideas I have with you and sharing it. I am also interested in YOUR feedback and ideas on that. So make sure to comment them down below.

If you were to make a more story focused character where you develop a plot over 3 parts, it could be realistic and manageable. However, this would be more like a series. I have also seen some series like "Monster Girl Encyclopedia" where the creator makes an audio for every monster girl instead of making it one character focused. If you want to make a recurring character, it'd probably be closer to a Slice of Life show where it's episodic and more focused on the character interactions rather than driving a plot forward! This can also make the audios shorter too so they don't need to be as long. An example of a recurring character I've seen is an Older Girlfriend who does simple things in each audio like cuddling, letting you sleep on her lap, shoulder rubs, etc. From a creative standpoint my best advice to have "Established Relationship" already exist so you don't have to make a plot about how the listener and the speaker meet! They just are already friends or partners and they just interact naturally with each other. For a gamer lamia, it could just be challenging each other to various games/competitions in every audio. For a wolf roommate it could be jealousy from scent in one, being overprotective in public, or reverse comfort in another. For a fox, it could be the listener showing how much they love the fox in different ways. For a slimegirl, it could be the listener finds different ways to interact with the slimegirl like a blanket, listener is stuck and needs help, or even slimegirl orders ASMR slime and compares 😆
