Hello everyone, I hope all is well! Lately I've been digging deep into Unity and getting into 3D game development so I made a little demo to test things. This little demo isn't indicative of what the final game will be but it's more of way to test animations, models, and shaders and such. I wanted to get deeper into 3D game dev and this was a good way to mess with different facets of 3D game dev.
I'm pretty happy with how things are looking in terms of the style and I've been able to get my characters working in Unity pretty well now after much trial and error with the humanoid rig system. Now that the characters are working with humanoid rigs I can remap things in engine to make things a little more dynamic such as having Vera turn her head to look at objects or aim her gun at stuff properly.
This demo was built with the help of the Adventure Creator Unity asset but the final game will be more of a tactics game with custom implementation and I'm working with a programmer to help with that (though making an point and click adventure game might still be a fun project...). I included some simple dialogues and zoom-ins to test things out and have some silly cube table shenanigans too.
