It's difficult to describe the amount of work even for this kind of scene. I have to create all sorts of sound effect, like open door, close it, ping when the lift arrives and check your position to control the music, secretly change the lights without you ever seeing it etc... Feel free to shoot your ideas when the player is inside the elevator, he could say something funny.
Also,
I had to revamp the backrooms as Unity really dislikes baked content with rotations (up, side etc.), meaning the room had different sections and each rotated to the normal floor level when entering. Now it's just a massive labyrinth with a normal floor level. Each door takes you to different scene. Currently working on it.
