About the first Alpha; Lot's of you guys reported problems with the Virtual Desktop and Oculus with SteamVR. Virtual desktop is no-go, as it tries to hook up to the Unity XR, which is not used. If you use Oculus, you MUST use the Meta Quest Link. Once you fire it up from the desktop, it will pop up to your library for the future runs.
I simply can't support all different setups with different runtimes, as the amount of the headsets and the controllers is BIG.
Anything else but Oculus, SteamVR should work!
Please try with the Alpha with the Meta Quest link, without the Virtual Desktop, and comment down below! I've tested all of the scenes with the Quest 3 and the Meta Quest link.

Are you able to share with us Jari if this scene will be the full scene with the ability to press the left trigger to delay the action again or has it been altered and condensed in a new way as you alluded to being able to change something?

2024-08-04 07:57:39 +0000 UTCAs long it fixes issues for Meta + Virtual Desktop I think those issues will solve along with pico 4 the only issue is the mis aligned head, a few black screens and a large flat black screen that follows along your head rotation.

I always wondered how it exactly worked, some PC VR games launch steam VR automatically, and some of them work solely through virtual desktop. I don't think we can change that behavior, it comes from the app being launched.

2024-08-04 00:49:10 +0000 UTCYes, virtual desktop is how you use your PC to play PCVR games on the Quest over Wi-Fi. This is the most common way to play PCVR games on the Oculus. I don't think you can avoid fixing Virtual Desktop otherwise FD3 will be unplayable on a majority of Oculus.

The scene begins as the FD2 Collar ceremony, but instead the cam going up, it goes down. Actually, if you play the FD2 with this scene, you already see yourself down there.

2024-08-03 17:44:36 +0000 UTCThe Virtual Desktop is a program you buy for your headset from the Store. If I understand correctly, it mirrors your screen to VR. Haven't tested, maybe someone could clarify?
