I've been banging my head to the wall over a week now with the skin accurate physics. I must finally admit, I can't do it myself. So I've contacted one company to help with the feature.
The price tag is insane, but if they can pull this off, it would add completely new level of interactivity. I'm currently waiting for the papers to sign.
For this purpose, I had to create them a demo scene with characters, which will be used as a base for their work. The time estimation is currently 1 month with 4 coders, full time. Do the math of the costs....

The title image will be the first scene having this new feature, but I'm releasing next week the base work without it. The characters are now having the base layer (full body collision and physics). When adding the job done by the hired guns later on, this should look and feel amazing!
