Solanbi11's Monthly Update #3 (September 2025)

Heya guys! Thank you for supporting me and welcome to September's monthly update!

ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

August was quite fast, I don't really feel it passing by, maybe because it's cloudy almost everyday here. Then we are suddenly in September, it's already 4 months since I started this page. I must say, I am happy that this page is at least working. Without further ado, here I go.

---Shuuko's Animation : Great Quality, Still Can be Improved---

I wanted to try 3d...

I thought it'd be easier and quicker...

And yet the workload to create a room is not easy at all, I spent like 4 days to make it from zero to renders with helps from a friend. Won't complain too much tho, it's good, I like the result, although the textures and lighting is still not great '-')

But, above that, I am quite satisfied. It's my first work which have a rather detailed drawings for the hair. It also have one shot that is fully in-betweened, and It's still cohesive from beginning to end.

I kinda think it's not hot enough if I compare it to other artist's art, but what do you guys think? is there anything I should change in my approach?

---September's Animation : Zhu Yuan!!---

Humu humu, It's inspector Zhu Yuan we will be lewding this month. I am excited to draw her (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)

As usual, I only an abstract idea which will be sorted out when I draw the storyboards.

I kinda want to use Voice Actress, but I used all my money to buy 2 Coloso courses. So I still have to stick to dialogue UI. The cost of VA for 5 minute animation is more expensive than the Coloso courses anyway.

I think I will use 3D again for the background. But now, It's gonna be made by my friend.

---August's Slice of Life---

I am back to healthy schedule. Not working in the weekends (was quite uncomfortable with it at first), and stopped working after dinner. I played many video games, watched anime, and just chilling. There are some notable experiences :

1. Trying to watch 'Record of the Lodoss War'. Enjoyed it at first, but the direction is also too old-fashioned, with the music and everything. Deedlit is such a babe tho.

2. Playing 'Urban Myth Dissolution Center'. It has good misteries and writing. Didn't bore me though it's very slow paced and a pretty long game. I want to play 'Mouthwashing' next month.

3. Talking to my friends. Well, mostly to recruit them. Sadly only one is interested in making this kind of animation (the 3D artist I mentioned earlier).

It won't be that way for September tho. I will be working in a full time job at my own alma mater. I need the money to live, so 3-month contract doesn't seem too bad. I still want to make my own anymations anyway.

If Zhu Yuan's animation ever be late, I will pause the billing for next month. You guys have my word ( ◡̀_◡́)ᕤ .

I am also taking two Coloso courses starting yesterday. One for AfterEffects and another for animation production in general. It's so expensive if I compare it to udemy or domestika, so it better be useful in the long run or I might cry. Again, here, $270 is... already more than what most people make in a month.
