Check In 03/25/2025

Hey everybody, just a fun little render this week, you've probably seen the boob book trend so i just thought it would be a fine little fun render to do. Some sort of bug passed through my household this weekend and put me on my ass for last couple days, but I'm feeling like 90% again and back into the fray.

Normally I like to give figures for where we're at update wise but as we move into the tail end of the process that doesn't work quite as well, since most of the work at this point isn't as quantifiable by numbers. I do try to get these logs out though so I'll be thinking of some more things I can discuss in them other than "this week I worked on animation more, it went well."

Now that being said this week I worked on animation more, it went well. I'm working on a particular thing that I haven't had much experience with so getting it right has been an interesting conundrum, I think Ive cracked it so we'll see if my theory on how to get it working works out this evening.

Now on a slightly unrelated note but this week is my dev anniversary, I released the very first chapter of The Author in 2020, God I feel old. When I started I never thought I would be lucky enough to have an audience as awesome as you guys, I know I say it every week but I really can't express the genuine gratitude I have that you've taken this journey with me. I have a small token of thanks I'll be dropping later this week so keep an eye out for that, normally I like to do an anniversary Q&A but I figure folks would rather I spent the time finishing the update so we'll hold off and have a big super stream after the release instead.

I'll be having an animation stream this Sunday the 30th at 1pm Pacific For Blue Belts and above. Safe to say you can expect spoilers.
