As Yuna and Kisaragi begin to examine the ruins, Tsukimori makes sure that no monsters are attacking them. As Kisaragi is examining the statue, she notices something in the corner of her eye. There is a gorgon standing at the edge of the forest and as soon as Kisaragi looks at it, it instantly turns to stone. Yuna notices that Kisaragi has been petrified, but because she touches the statue, she thinks that this effect comes from the statue itself. But she also notices that Kisaragi saw something, so Yuna walks around her and also looks into the Gorgon's eyes, which also turns her to stone. Tsukimori didn't notice any of this, but he becomes aware of the situation with a malicious laugh. She spots the gorgon and prepares to attack it, but as soon as the gorgon opens its eyes, it turns to stone and a -GAME OVER- screen appears. Yuna, Tsukimori and Kisaragi have just played the latest VRRPG, but the in-game petrification also has effects in real life. Erika finds Yuna and Tsukimori playing together and notices that something is wrong because both of them are not moving or reacting at all. Erika takes the VR glasses from Yuna and notices her blank look and that her body is very stiff. With some effort, Erika managed to wake Yuna up, but she was still completely dazed. Afterwards, Erika wakes up Tsukimori and Yuna explains to her what happened. Yuna then remarks that it wasn't a good idea for the three of them to do a mission in the game for which the three of them are not yet leveled up high enough. In the meantime, Kisaragi was found by Kirino, who, like Erika, has problems waking her up. Kirino also has little pity for them because they attempted a mission that was far too difficult.
