For me, the last two weeks of January are the storm before the calm: work churns like Amelia's potbelly after an ill-advised fourth helping of crème brûlée, but then things begin to settle in February and usually continue fair to middling through March - which is great, because it means more time and energy for the creative stuff!

Had a minor work emergency at the end of last week which meant I had to travel and work over the weekend. So the week 2 writing prompt (#SPECTACLE) will be delayed slightly.
