this was one of the classic Disney princess movies that I didn’t watch fully until I was an adult for me the animation style for this movie is just beautiful I also love Prince Phillip as a character

2025-11-10 01:12:27 +0000 UTCThis movie has a special place in my heart because I saw it for the first time as a young teenager (not a child or an adult discovering film history). It reconnected me with a softer more romantic side that I tried to repress during that time in order to appear more masculine. It's not the most tightly written film, but such a feast for the eyes and ears. Also Prince Phillip is easily the best of the classic pre-Renaissance Disney prince, if only by virtue of having an actual character and role in the story beyond showing up. I went to Disneyworld a few months after seeing the movie so my love of it and especially Maleficent are tied to this important memory and a special Holiday shared with my recently divorced mother. PS: That creamer sounds delightful. I've never been much of a coffee person, much less black coffee (way too bitter for my taste). I prefer English breafast tea with a bit of milk and a lump of sugar.
