Cara Buono (Karen Wheeler in Stranger Things) played Edith Banner in this. I didn't recognize her at all with the different hair cut and colour. You've just seen Eric Bana (Bruce) as Hector in Troy. It was after seeing Bana's performance in Hulk that Steven Spielberg decided to cast him in the 2005 film Munich (an incredible film that is well-worth watching). He's an Australian actor who had a run of lead or co-lead roles in Hollywood in the early 2000's but outside of Troy all of them didn't perform well financially so he's mostly worked in independent or Australian films since then. He was also the villain Nero in the 2009 Star Trek film. This was my first time watching this movie in about 20 years and I found it to be very interesting. The whole idea of David Banner passing down a condition to his son making figurative trauma into literal trauma I found to be moving. The way he goads and demeans Bruce reminds my of how my father talks about his own father ( and I'm sure unfortunately that many people can understand these feelings). It's a very psychological story. From what I can gather, the film takes a lot of inspiration on the works of Peter David, who just passed away this week at 68. He was the head writer of the Hulk comics for 12 years spanning 1987-1998. Ang Lee is a very daring filmmaker. He had made his name with adapting the novels Sense and Sensibility, The Ice Storm and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon ( a wonderful martial arts film that was a smash hit). He followed Hulk with the cultural touchstone Brokeback Mountain in 2005 about two cowboys (played by Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhal) falling in love.

Hi Storm. Just letting you know, Captain America: Brave New World will arrive on Disney+ on May 28. If I may suggest, it would be best to react to Morbius (2022) before continuing watching new MCU movies. Morbius is in the same universe with Venom movies and Sony's Spider-Man Universe franchise is connected to MCU via multiverse. There's something you need to know about Morbius post credits scene.
