I love the show's take on Velma, who's smart and perceptive but also kind of a judgy little mess, and the occasional jokes about her being out of shape are a bonus. Plus she's hooking up with the skinny, image-conscious popular girl, which makes for a nice contrast. Definitely check the show out if you get the chance, especially if you like Harley Quinn - it has a very similar vibe, and I'm enjoying it a lot so far!
