The Walking Dead 2x10 | FULL UNCUT Reactions

Comments

So this is going to be a long one. Sorry it's late. First let's talk about Rick and Shane. They are taking Randal 18 miles away from the farm. On the way there, Rick and Shane have a talk. They discuss what happened at the school. Shane admits that he killed Otis, but the real shocker here is that Rick says he would have done the same thing. Shane doesn't believe Rick would do it. I believe Rick could do it, shoot someone in the leg and leave them for bait, but I don't think Rick had the 'guts' to do it. This conversation ends with Rick saying "that is my wife, my son, and MY unborn baby." When they get to a place that Rick thinks is a good spot, the two police officers check out the place. Rick says they should use knives more, this is a good idea. They also find two dead walkers that used to be police officers. Shane notes they don't have bites, but Rick reminds him that scratches also infect people. This was briefly mentioned in the first episode but it is easy to forget that. Basically don't let a walker make you bleed. The two drop off Randal and leave him a knife so he can defend himself. Everything is going well until Randal mentions that he knows Maggie. This means that he might know where the farm is. This is where Shane decides that they have to kill Randal. Rick and Shane fight, but Rick is just trying to stop Shane and Shane is just trying to kill Randal. Sane isn't trying to kill Rick, he drops a motorcycle on him to keep Rick down long enough to shoot Randal. It's not until Shane throws a wrench at Rick that he is trying kill Rick. The walkers attack Shane because Rick is hiding under a dead walker. Shane is chased onto a bus and is trapped. One walker goes for Randell and three go for Rick. Rick and Randall both take out their walkers. Shane kills two walkers before losing his knife. Randal and Rick decide to leave Shane. Ironic, Shane left Otis to escape and now Rick is leaving Shane to escape. You can see the fear in Shane's eyes as he watched the man that used to be his brother leave him. Rick sees the two dead police officers and sees himself and Shane in them. Those officers lived together and the died together. This is what made Rick go back for Shane. After saving Shane, the two have a talk. Rick mentions that he believes that they will have to kill Randal. But he also restates that "That is my wife, my son, and MY unborn baby." Meanwhile, Beth tries to kill herself. Beth doesn't think there is anything to live for. She doesn't want to be gutted. She wants to die, like Jenner did, her own way. Lori and Andrea have an argument that was way more interesting than Rick and Shane. Lori is saying they need to watch over Beth and that Andrea isn't contributing to the group. Andrea points out that Lori hasn't lost much. I love the line, "you go in there and tell that girl she will have a happy life, she'll get a husband, a son, a baby... A boyfriend." It definitely looks like Lori has been living good in the apocalypse. I think that Andrea could help out more, let Dale be on watch. Last time Andrea was on watch, she shot Daryl. Andrea does something that seems very "Shane," she leaves Beth alone. She made the "right" call by leaving it up to Beth, but it was a dangerous call. If beth had killed herself, Maggie would kick Andrea off the farm so fast. But Lori admits that because of Andrea, Beth knows she wants to live. This was a very big episode. I love your reactions. I am about to watch the next episodes reaction.
