I often quote this movie still without realizing what I'm quoting. It just kind of became part of my vocabulary as a preteen. Gonna have a fun night rewatching both this and Batman Returns with you guys. Double feature!

2021-09-26 22:13:56 +0000 UTCMan, it's so sad we will never have another Jim Carrey again; he was the closest person ever to naturally be a Looney Tunes character in real life. The only person able to match him was Robin Williams; and I can only be a little greedy, and imagine The Mask, and The Genie sitting in a room in an alternate universe, being happy, and making people laugh around the world.

2021-09-26 18:41:23 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite Jim Carrey films, and the film debut of Cameron Diaz. There is a "sequel" to this film, Son of the Mask, but different characters and actors. It is considered to be one of the worst films of the 2000s. Traylor Howard is the only reason to watch any of it.
