Added 2021-04-14 22:14:26 +0000 UTCThis was just so incredible and yet so devastating! Poor Ahsoka! To see her amazing skills against so many (and not killing anyone!) was astounding... yet we still had our stomachs twisted into knots! My heart broke at the end...

Lots of foreshadowing here and echoes of other SW scenes. The big one for me is Anakin hunting down a Jedi at the head of a large force of clones. Shades of what happens in Revenge of the Sith and in other media off-screen. This is also not the last time Anakin fails to talk a young Jedi into trusting him and out of taking a swan dive into a massive pit. Luckily, the young Jedi here keeps all her extremities intact.

2021-04-15 07:10:46 +0000 UTCOne interesting thing I saw is that unlike blaster bolts, it seems you can't redirect stun blasts. It just absorbs into the lightsaber. Just a cool detail I saw.

Tarkin did the same thing to Leia as he did to Ahsoka here, grabbing Leia's mouth before the Death Star destroyed Alderan, also in this episode Anakin tells the clones "Set your weapons for stun, I want her alive", which is a bit similar to in ANH where Vader tells stormtroopers "Bring me the passengers, I want them alive" and the stormtroopers subsequently set their weapons to stun to knock out Leia.

2021-04-15 00:05:00 +0000 UTCThis one is probably my favourite episode. Ahsoka and Anakin have conversations about Republic justice at both the start and the end. Anakin trusts the system but Ahsoka does not. At the start, Ahsoka is on the inside so her distrust leaves her wanting to take matters into her own hands. At the end, the system is against Ahsoka so her distrust makes her want to run away.
