I remember seeing this in cinema when I was 7-y.o. in 2000, was already aware of the 1960s cartoon, and that it would have Jim Carrey as the Grinch, even then I enjoyed a lot, and has been a Xmas tradition alongside Christmas Vacation/Die Hard/A Christmas Story/Friday After Next. Jim Carrey is still the best thing about this film.

I watched Jingle All the way the other day too, and loved that as well. Me and my family REALLY love jingle all the way. We watch it together every year since it’s come out.

2020-12-21 11:22:22 +0000 UTCI'd honestly would like to see them react to another underrated Jim Carrey film "FUN with DICK and JANE" (2005), which perfectly satires the 2000 Enron scandal and the aftermath of its employees being put out of a job because of it, only done on a comedic level. And if you ask me (as a millennial myself), the movie is more relevant now in the post-2008 recession era.
