i feel like i don't often post in-progress shorts of my work aside from the sketch so here's a little wip!! my process varies but in general, i enjoy going from sketch to color block because if the colors don't look good to me i tend to feel personally lost when i don't know the direction of the piece! by having a rough color block i feel more assured in terms of color palette/direction, making it easier for me to refine the details of the shapes knowing how i can shift color to make everythi...

major apologies for the quiet. last month i had a couple health scares + had to go in for a few appointments so things got incredibly set back. thankfully everything is in the clear! i'm happy to announce that the april patreon rewards are finished (although belated) and they'll be arriving my way next week + shipped out next weekend!

double news for today!!

half of the year of the dragon (jan/feb) rewards were mailed out today! i ran out of stamps and just received new ones so the remaining batch will be sent out tonight and tomorrow~ everything is already packed and sealed so i just need to slap the stamps onto the envelopes and they’ll be ready to go! >:3

here is a little sketch of the upcoming march sakura picnic sticker sheet! i actually drew this on my flight to japan~ the layout was inspired by the previous sticker sheet for this theme while adding some new designs! it was actually so cold in japan that there was a delay in the cherry blossom bloom so i wasn't able to see a ton of sakura trees like i was imagining. but the ones i did come across were beautiful and well appreciated :'3 <3

i just wanted to give a formal update that this month's billing will be paused. i was hoping to finish the oct/nov sticker sheet in november but the past month has honestly been a rough time with a lot of crunch at my full time job. for context, i work in tv animation which requires me to draw for 8 hours a day, but we've been having a lot of tight deadlines and a need for OT. on top of that, i was informed this week that we won't be given a holiday break this year.....
