We have seen many treat clones as objects that are bred for war.. which that is the purpose.. but they are still people!

2020-12-17 03:51:45 +0000 UTCObi-wan is more by the book than Anakin or Ahsoka, but Krell is on a whole different level and is so rigid in his command where he isn't really flexible on changing his plan or strategies.

2020-12-16 22:43:01 +0000 UTCWhile General Krell is in charge of Anakin's battalion, he technically doesn't have to follow Anakin's strategy or plan. General Krell follows the more "traditional" general way. A general technically shouldn't be on the front lines with their men. Which sucks since he really should be on the front lines with his men since he's such a impressive Jedi that can duel wield 2 double bladed lightsabers.

But my leading theory is that Palpatine called him because he expects the Republic to fail at their takeover of Umbara, and since that Anakin is the poster boy of the war, the Hero with no Fear, he doesn't want the general public to know Anakin was involved and that they failed. Anakin is this great warrior and liberator in the eyes of the people. Where he goes he brings peace and swiftly defeats the enemy. So, it's just more subtle manipulation by our boy Palpatine.
