We plan on watching Scream next week since we want to include Tom and Mom ever so nicely declined watching a slasher movie... she wanted to watch a Disney movie... Beauty and the Beast has been requested a lot in the past, so we just watched that! She's so cute!

2020-10-18 00:12:19 +0000 UTCIn regards to your mom not wanting to watch Scream because she thinks it's a "slasher film." Scream really isn't. It's more of a commentary on the whole horror genre at the time. Scream is far tamer than many of the things your mom has watched on here and enjoyed. Scream is actually a "Who Dunnit" murder mystery film. Yes there's some scary parts and lots of suspense, but there also a lot of fun intrigue as well. Just my 2 cents.
