You're definitely doing yourself a solid. This show gets REAL good but the first two seasons set up a lot of ground work, so I understand people calling it "slow", but it pays off big time in the end game. It's all building towards something and keeps the story fresh and exciting despite being a prequel series--it's so much more and I think if you like Breaking Bad you'll at least like this :)

2020-09-21 18:03:24 +0000 UTCI like to think that scene towards the end of Breaking Bad where Todd gives Jesse a cup of Ben and Jerry's to reward him for a quality cook was supposed to imply this was a rare treat for Jesse, but in reality Todd was bringing ice cream to Jesse every twenty minutes and that's how they both managed to put on 15 pounds in 72 hours. This would also explain why Uncle Jack was so mad at Jesse; before they captured him, Jack had a huge freezer full of ice cream, and now he's down to his last several dozen buckets of Cherry Garcia.
