MOVIE POLL- VOTE on what we'll watch next!
Added 2020-08-25 00:14:26 +0000 UTCHi everyone and welcome back! Goodfellas is still uploading and will be up soon! We also plan on watching Mrs. Doubtfire later this week, so thanks for that fun request! It'll be a good breather from all the trauma from our shows and certain movies ;)
If your request doesn't make it in this time, request again in the comments and I'll bump it up the LIST where it will hopefully be in a POLL soon. We get a lot of requests and do a lot, so please be patient with us :)
Please give us at least a week to react to the WINNER, edit and upload :)
We have a great community here and wonderful supporters who care a lot about what we do. If anyone tries to troll/cheat in the POLLS with multiple accounts, I will ban that person and take other actions if needed. There is no refund either for being unfair and your votes here will disappear. We want to keep this fun for everyone!
Happy VOTING! Thank you for supporting us!
We plan on watching: Fantastic Beasts 2, King Kong (2005) and Incredibles 2 in the near future due to long term popular demand too. :D

Had Gary Oldman done an American accent before The 5th Element? To me he sounds a little like Cary Elwes in Twister in the 5th Element, where the accent kind of leans towards Southern.
2020-08-30 19:53:47 +0000 UTCOh god, if The 5th Element beats The Godfather (a movie that's regarded up there with Citizen Kane and Casablanca as the "elite" class of film masterpieces by snooty movie buffs and critics alike) it'll confirm what's been so recently vocally suspected about the majority's tastes of this reaction community, and I absolutely LOVE The 5th Element and it's sci-fi schlocky fun, lol! 😁
2020-08-30 09:00:05 +0000 UTCI think it might be worth waiting for the Justice League Snyder Cut to be released. It will likely be a cleaner version.
2020-08-28 20:34:59 +0000 UTCGary Oldman always gives a strong performance. I hope they add Air Force One back to the polls soon as it came close to winning a few times there. Rush Hour 1 and 2 as well as Money Talks are good, entertaining Chris Tucker movies.

2020-08-28 01:46:10 +0000 UTCYou all should check out True Romance (1993), it’s a mob film/rom com directed by Tony Scott and written by Quentin Tarantino. And also check out the Bill and Ted movies (Excellent Adventure (1989) and Bogus Journey (1991)) for something more lighthearted
2020-08-27 11:50:02 +0000 UTCI really wanted Temple of Doom to win, but I'm really psyched it looks like they're going to watch Fifth Element. They're going to have so much fun watching Gary Oldman and Chris Tucker!

2020-08-27 09:50:04 +0000 UTCI'm not a huge fan of the Western but Tombstone is awesome and quite entertaining.

2020-08-25 09:13:33 +0000 UTCI have so many recommendations, but, I managed to rework and get it down to 4: "Phone Booth" (2002) "Sunshine" (2007) "Fearless" (2006) "Captain Phillips" (2013)

2020-08-25 02:52:08 +0000 UTCYou guys should wait till the Snyder Cut of Justice League comes out and just focus on Aquaman, Shazam, and Birds of Prey

2020-08-25 02:42:19 +0000 UTCThey can still watch other DCEU movies without watching Justice League first
2020-08-25 02:34:02 +0000 UTCI'm really looking forward to your reactions to King Kong (2005) and The Incredibles 2 (2018). I have lots of requests, but I'll just mention a few here. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), Bambi (1942), The Land Before Time (1988), The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride (1998), and WALL-E (2008).

2020-08-25 01:56:02 +0000 UTCThe Long Kiss Goodnight would be fun to see their reaction of.
YodatheHobbit
2020-08-25 01:46:27 +0000 UTCI think given how highly regarded the movie is, it is only a matter of time before they watch it. Especially since they have now watched Goodfellas.

2020-08-25 01:46:24 +0000 UTCGreat poll. Here are my ten weekly movie requests. I totally understand that not every movie request can make the poll but I hope some of them at least make it to the polls in the near future! There have been some great reactions recently. The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) Ransom (1996) Breakdown (1997) Outbreak (1995) Dante's Peak (1997) The Sum of All Fears (2002) Cliffhanger (1993) As Good As It Gets (1997) Blue Steel (1990) This is probably Jamie Lee Curtis's most underrated movie. A good thriller and the late Ron Silver plays one of the creepiest bad guys ever. Terminal Velocity (1994) Charlie Sheen's most underrated movie. A mystery that combines action with skydiving stunts. Mercury Rising (1998) Bruce Willis's most underrated movie. A very strong performance by the child actor who plays an autistic boy who is able to crack a top secret code.

2020-08-25 01:19:12 +0000 UTCCan it be true that Godfather might come CLOSE to winning? I know Fifth Element will probably win and I love that movie, but my dream is for the ladies to react to the Godfather one day. My all time favorite movie ever.
Armchair Wizard
2020-08-25 01:18:30 +0000 UTCBefore watching another film....before starting yet another franchise, perhaps you should just finish all the sequels you have already started
CiviliNation
2020-08-25 01:17:15 +0000 UTCMan, you're killing it with your suggestions (in a good way). I've never seen this movie, but I remember reading Roger Ebert's review of it. Sounded very moving and unconventional.

2020-08-25 01:05:14 +0000 UTCPonette (1996) I thought I'd include this as a separate entry. It's about a little French girl whose mother dies and how she deals with it. It may sound dreary, and you WILL cry, but it's just so lovely. Plus the main actress is FOUR YEARS OLD! She won Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival and totally deserved it. How they get all the kids in the movie to give the performances they do is just like sorcery. It's in French with subtitles so maybe just a movie for Dawn and Kim?

2020-08-25 01:01:00 +0000 UTCI'm glad you have Hacksaw Ridge on the list. I hope you also add Unbroken (2014) and Harriet (2019).
2020-08-25 01:00:31 +0000 UTCYay! Hope you're having a great week ladies! Movie requests from moi (I thought I'd choose some fun ones if you want a bit of a break from the heavier stuff): Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (based on a series of comic books, inspired by video games, very silly with great music!) A League of Their Own Practical Magic (Sandra Bullock movie -- very girly and very fun) Chocolat (a lovely mysterious traveller brings chocolate -- and JOY -- to a small town! very fun!) Dazed & Confused Sister Act Contact (it's dramatic without being heavy... if you know what I mean... Jodie Foster is awesome)
zammmerjammer
2020-08-25 00:56:15 +0000 UTC12 Monkeys is awesome. Classic Terry Gilliam (though Brazil is still his best movie). I thought about Schindler's List but I thought maybe the ladies might like something a little, um, lighter right now.

2020-08-25 00:49:37 +0000 UTCThe problem with watching a gem like Goodfellas, is that it's now MANDATORY to watch The Godfather 1, and 2 (3 doesn't exist).

2020-08-25 00:47:40 +0000 UTCHmm... Last week I posted that dissertation called "Why I Think Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom is Underrated." And here it's up against "12 Monkeys," a movie I've asked about a number of times. ... I guess I have to go with 12 Monkeys. Even though it's unlikely to win, I'm just glad it made it to the big show.
