Added 2020-02-23 11:02:22 +0000 UTCHi everyone and welcome back! This was uploading all day yesterday and wow! I even have a Cat 8 hard line set up and it seems like my wifi was faster! Anywho, time freed up earlier this week, so we guessed Aliens may WIN the POLLS.. so that's why this is available early. Surprise! Usually after something WINS, we try to watch by the weekend, have the FULL Version done in a few days, then Fair Use within a week or so. Protect you ears during this! LOL!

Loved the reaction. Not for she but did you notice Hicks was very attracted to Ripley. Same with her. Didn't hear you guys say anything about that so not for sure you caught on. But really fun watching your reaction. Now I will warn you just love on Alien and Aliens because if you watch any Aliens movies after that it will ruin everything you enjoyed about these two. BEWARE WARNING!!!!!

2020-02-25 06:27:16 +0000 UTCYeah, Predator is great, but I think it would be too much for them. It's really just hardcore action and sci-fi with some gore and Arnie's one-liners. It's lacking the human element that Aliens, or even The Terminator, had. I don't think it would be their cup of tea.

2020-02-23 22:12:59 +0000 UTCI love Vazquez. I'm glad Team Akima liked her too. A couple other fun facts: Aliens only had a budget of around 18 million. Even accounting for inflation, this is pretty darn good use of money. ... Also, Sigourney Weaver was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for this role. To be nominated for an acting Oscar for this type of movie was unheard of, at least at the time.

2020-02-23 17:23:44 +0000 UTCA great movie, my favorite of the Alien series. Alien 3 is terrible though, so terrible the director David Fincher refuses to even talk about it. Apparently he hates it. So maybe stop the Alien series here and end on a high note.

Also, can anyone confirm if this is the theatrical cut, or the extended cut? Edit: To answer my own question, I skipped ahead on the reaction and it looks like it's the Extended Cut, which is about 2 hours and 34 minutes long, including credits.
