Also, Mom meant to say, "Is he the father?" instead of "Is he the son?" or however she said it later in the movie, LOL! Kim and I had strong reactions to that XD

2019-10-22 02:08:04 +0000 UTCThis was a great reaction. To this day, this is my favourite Terminator movie. I'll never tire of this film. It's so straight forward, relentless, dark and chilling. Yes, it is pretty low budget, but the combined talent of James Cameron and Gale Ann Hurd really elevates this b-movie sci-fi actioner to something so rich in style and mood that it rightly has become a techno-horror classic.

2019-10-21 12:10:58 +0000 UTCNice that you are watching a classic like this- however I think the effects still hold up pretty damn good all these years later. Way preferable model/animatronic work which gives the movie a lot more reality than some of the CGI of today. However once again i've noticed people telling you not to watch certain movies in the franchise and i have to say i think its pretty selfish of people to tell you what films NOT to watch just because they didn't like them themselves. I think you should see every movie of a series and be allowed to judge them yourselves. I for one actually like the third movie and the Genisys one. I'm not too fussed on Salvation but I do think you should watch them all and form your own opinion on them.

2019-10-21 09:09:14 +0000 UTCThe sequel is the one that really hit me as a kid. I saw that one first. Based on the release (1984, then 1991), Terminator 1 feels like 'peak 80s' and the sequel feels like 'peak 90s' haha.

There's a ton of Terminator movies but you only have to see 1 and 2 the rest are not good. Terminator 1 is a solid standalone movie that needed no follow up but when Terminator 2 came out it was awesome and was an appropriate conclusion to the story but then greedy studios want sequels and yeah... believe me when I say you will get nothing out of 3 and onward lol. Can't wait for Terminator 2 which is arguably one of the greatest sequels ever made.
