Yay! I always hear a variety of opinions for this series! It's quite intriguing how different they are! We just watched the second movie and they loved that one too! I have a feeling Mom and Kim will enjoy the others as well. We'll see! I haven't seen much of the last 2 at all... hmm... curious!

They sound like a lot of fun! I've only seen the 1st in it's entirety.. the others only parts... and the last 2 I only know very little... as long as Mom and Kim still enjoy them as we move forward, we'll keep watching them! I think they'll get a kick out of them either way!

It's been so long since I've seen this movie that I fell right back in love with it! I love the romance, fantasy, adventure! The music and characters are epic with a great mixture of humor all the way through! Kim keeps telling me how much she enjoyed this! I don't remember much about the other 2 in this trilogy.. I've only seen parts of the last 2 (4 and 5). As long as they enjoy them, I hope to watch the entire series with them! :D

I have always loved this movie, and even the first two sequels. They're just big, crazy, ridiculous swashbuckling fun. Four and five are when the series finally ran out of steam for me.

This is great. I kept looking at your mom and sister during the movie and I don't think either one of them stopped smiling once. Even during the intense scenes. Do you think it is just the movie doesn't take itself too seriously or have we broken them with The Dark Knight? :D This was one of my favorite reactions that you guys have done (so far). I know you are planning to go to Disney soon, and I don't know if you have ever been before, but be sure to ride The Pirates of the Caribbean. There are a few scenes in the movie that they got from the ride. The two that come to mind are the prisoners trying to get the keys from the dog, and the Tortuga scene. Also, have you thought about doing some different types of movies, like historical dramas or something. I don't know how good of a reaction it would be, but I just watched Lincoln (for the tenth or so time) and I was wondering if you have seen it. Elizabeth and Elizabeth: The Golden Age with Cate Blanchett would be interesting too.

Pirates 1 was such an amazing film. Mostly by accident actually. Stumbled into greatness that it could never really reproduce.
