Zac's taken the bait and built the machine! Let's choose a path for him and influence what changes get made to the very nature of reality. If you have any thoughts or ideas please share them. I'd really like for this to be a collaborative journey that can get a little wild...

This occurs because Zac first invites Eva's older, very pretty sister to an MIT social, but she rejects him. Zac likes Eva for her brains and personality, but has never found her attractive. Zac decides to test the device by attempting to make Eva more attractive, and then invite her to the MIT social. Zac's attempt to use the device to improve Eva's looks proves to be more effective than he had planned.
