Supernatural 13x21 Full Reaction!

Bit of a doozy this week. Great opening. Dream or you missed an episode was about my assessment as well. I’m with Dean on seven pieces of pizza in one sitting isn’t bad. And as he says, it’s not even a whole pie. What’s everyone complaining about? Like the realistic touch of how Sam wakes up. I mean, I rarely if ever remember my dreams, but they seem to grind to a halt when you register when something is off, sort of like how it happened with Sam here. Everything was all set, and then the snag is that Gabriel has a little trouble rising to meet a challenge. He seems to get over that problem fairly quickly as evidenced by the Rowena scene. You were nicer about that than I was. Took it in, said, “...What’s happening?”, and expressed that the development was not something I ever needed to see. Dean is me with just sidestepping the Rowena and Gabriel of it all. His tone had that, “We are never speaking of this ever again.” We do share loving how great it is how Rowena and Gabriel bamboozle Lucy. You apologized for the cackling. Considering the shit that makes me cackle, I am in no position to judge you cackling. Besides which, it is delightful when you cackle. Fun here with the trickery and the witchery of it all. We both caught how Gabriel mentioned Jack by name, and Lucy confirms that the name didn’t come up, leading to a group reaction there. You did know that Lucy would get out of shit. Rowena being left behind to babysit wasn’t the worst idea. We are wary as it speaks more to Lucy being such a gadfly, more than it’s anything against Rowena. She is all set to leave when it goes south. But she doesn’t. Like her son before her, she’s stuck contending with those pesky FEELINGS; they really are terrible from time to time. Aren’t they? The group meets this Maggie, like her thus far. They get into the tight spot with the vampires. Leads to Sam dying. Hell of a thing, your reaction there. Yes, obviously, you knew it wasn’t going to last. There’s two seasons left, and this is a CW show, nothing to worry about. The bit with Castiel having to half drag Dean away whilst struggling not to breakdown himself is a surprising gut punch. And much though you know that Sam’s metabolic processes are not yet history, yeah, it gets you when Mary sees that Sam’s not with them, and Dean doesn’t even need to speak as the look and tears in his eyes says everything. You expressed not being able to imagine what was going on in Dean’s head. That makes two of us. We are both the younger sibling, and the baby of the family. Hence Dean’s got shit in his head of such torment we can’t even imagine, or maybe we just don’t want to. Lucy gets Sam back on his feet. Well spoken about how tortured Sam is there. Bad choice either way: Help old Lucy out, or Lucy lets the vampires loose to pick poor Sammy clean. And in said scene, by the way: No real idea how to respond to your statement, “Sometimes, Lucifer is based.”, (assuming I heard you right,) primarily because I don’t know what “based” means. The two meet up with the others, and we leave it there to see how it goes in the episodes to come. Thanks for the reaction, Jess.
