Supernatural 13x13 Full Reaction!

Supernatural 13x13 Full Reaction!

Comments

Not a bad full circle of starting the year with a Supernatural reaction (with the extra goodies of the Cabaret reaction on patreon) and now you will conclude the year with a Supernatural reaction. Now to the episode. What a mess it was. I’ll say it with you. We interrupt Supernatural to bring us one of those Hallmark movies. Figured you’d say something about the cake. Sighing once again over Lucy. He has the fever, and the only prescription is more angel grace. Yeah, Lucy does have an off-putting vibe, but I’m not one to talk. And he gets pointed in the direction of Anael. NOT calling her Jo, as she’s not our Jo as you say, one. Two, she’s not worthy of the name representation like how you yelled at Toni for rocking your mom’s name, similar sentiment here, though not my mom’s name; my mom’s got the lovely name representation on the Derry show. Rather rude she tricked the boys, and helped Lucy out. And she stands by Lucy after he made the sales pitch to rule Heaven. Lucy Goosey did need to chill, especially when he went all Ash Williams whilst creepily staring at you like he did in his last scene of the episode. Good that Castiel reunited with the boys. Good words you had about that. Nice to see Donatello again, though it stinks that Asmodeus has planted spell in him. Bringing us to the other big mess. We have given a name to our pain. And it is Ketch. So, I see that you haven’t clocked the name in the credits that gives you the warning for Ketch. (Or if you have, you just didn’t really react to it in this one.) I’m stuck with that, which now I know how you felt whenever you’d catch Curtis listed in the credits. Think I also figured out the name in the credits for Asmodeus, so that’s interesting. Him making the sales pitch to team up with the boys is met with a shared reaction, complete with the responses of “No” and responses of “Yes” when he asked certain questions about can he be trusted, and when making remarks about being a monster. He does seem, and mind you I say the word “seem” to be shooting straight about genuinely wanting to take Lucy off the board, by extension, he wants the same for Asmodeus. You are absolutely right of I wouldn’t trust him any more than I can throw him. (Course, with my bad knee, I shouldn’t be throwing anybody.) And let’s be clear, shall we? I hate him. Probably as much as you do. Alas, he makes compelling points. You say that maybe he can be counted on if the goals and motivations align. All the same, I like how the boys reluctantly consider the idea whilst making it clear that once the partnership is done, they kill him. Preferably after they aim below the belt and empty a few magazines into his fellas. Really does say something about how Crowley is far more trustworthy when he shares the common enemy or motivations with the boys. I would say Rowena too, though she’s a bit more duplicitous and self serving, yet she can play nice. Asmodeus reveals one other ace up his sleeve; another player in the game. Culminating in the big end of the year reveal, as you put it. You would think that we’ll catch up with Mary and Jack soon. I’ve not seen the next episode yet, and you’re undoubtedly further ahead, so you likely know one way or another, but with how many episodes are left in the season, stands to reason that an update on that’s sooner rather than later. As to the discussion about the reactions to this show coming to an end. Been observing much the same. Same as what you say, factoring in breaks, I gather that we won’t finish within this upcoming year, but I think we will get close. You posit the conclusion would be at or around sometime early 2027. That was my assessment as well. See how that goes. Again, nice that you have the New Year’s plans. None of my own. Be in bed by ten, probably nine thirty. Likely will have to work New Year’s Day, the SLOWEST day of the year at work, so I have that fun to look forward to. You wish us a happy new year. I hope so. Barest minimum I’ll take is that I hope it’ll be a better year than 2021 was. Either way, here’s hoping that the upcoming year will be good for both of us. Thanks for the fun reaction, Jess.
