Supernatural 13x06 Full Reaction!

Another episode with the simple case, where the greater emotional crux is what surrounds it. We shared the disbelief that they were just going to skip past the emotional reunion. You were nicer about it, simply asking where it was, and I was yelling, “No way in Hell they just skipped past that!” We both then assessed correctly about the “Two days earlier” bit, and it was great to see your delight on guessing that exact time. Sweet it is when the boys reunite with Castiel. Nice that Castiel and Jack can now spend time together. Love their words about Kelly. Knew you would find it nice that Dean is in the improved mood now that Castiel is back, and that he gets to live out the Tombstone life. Because of course Dean loves that movie. It is a good one. In terms of westerns of the nineties, I’m partial to Unforgiven and The Quick and the Dead myself. Gene Hackman being the villain in both is a major reason why. Tombstone is a good one. To little surprise, the image of Dean and Castiel in the hats is the thumbnail, terrific your reaction to that was. We share the thought of liking Athena. A nice lady. Questionable taste in men, but we did like her. Like the realism of Athena is suspected to be the ghoul as her profession would be useful for the activities, and how Dean notes the flaw in the theory of she wouldn’t need to dig the bodies up if she was a ghoul, thus they rule her out. You expressed that you found the ghoul to be a piece of shit, and I note, “You’re expecting an argument?” Yeah, you knew that was coming, your reaction to the ghoul acting the way he did there. Love the demonstration of how fast Sam is as he fires before the ghoul could draw. Then the dark turn happens. Good words on how awful though it was, Jack did need the wake up call of he can’t just rush in where angels fear to tread. Good on Sam and Castiel trying to offer the words of wisdom. Leaves Dean to team up with the sarge, really liked the sarge, by the way. Dean has to crawl through the graves. Yeah, it gets your claustrophobia going a bit. Figured you’d appreciate Dean’s John McClane grousing at the one scene. If I were in his shoes, I’d make the joke, “Now I know how Charles Bronson felt in The Great Escape.” We both are glad that the sarge got the kill. See, you laughed at Dean’s quip and I was disappointed that Dean didn’t say that the ghoul was no daisy. Me, I’d have quoted Eli Wallach from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, or I’d sound like Gene in The Quick and the Dead, saying, “Dave Mather is dead! ...Old news.” Like how the sarge accepts the plausible deniability that Dean offers, and very sweet of Dean to pin the guard’s death on the ghoul. Shame that Jack is still upset. Honestly, good move on Dean’s part to say that if Jack is a monster, then by the logic offered, they all are. I’d add to that saying it’s ok. The world needs monsters. We keep the worse monsters from the door. Stings a bit seeing how the scene got to you. And now Jack runs, and you don’t like that, unless he goes to see Jody. See how that goes.
