I remember being similarly conflicted going into season 13. The way they ended season 12, this was the first time we saw Castiel die with his wings burned into the ground. This episode really hit hard seeing the boys give him a hunter's funeral, and poor Dean just looked so defeated. That being said, while it's such a somber moment, with Castiel lying on that table and Dean teary-eyed, prepping him, I can't help but giggle when I see it now because of what I know what happens behind the scenes (Jensen kept slapping Misha in the crotch, making the poor man sit bolt upright...). How they ever got anything filmed is the real miracle of this show. LOL
