Ngl. I'm wondering how much of the emotions regarding Andre come from acting and how much come from the grief they feel because of the death of Chance... It must be devastating.

2025-09-18 19:04:48 +0000 UTCI haven't been able to go very far on mourning Chance, since he was a full-on right wing freak on Twitter. The most I can give is he was still relatively young and might have grown out of it if he'd gotten the chance, and as someone thankful every day to be old enough that nothing I said as an idiot teenager is enshrined on social media I always have some sympathy for that, but in the current environment that doesn't get very far with me.

Alas, I can’t see the last season reactions, nor the ones for this season as I am still behind on The Boys. Memes notwithstanding, the only main things that I’ve seen from the show, were Love Sausage so as to answer my question, “What’s all the hoo-ha?” when everyone went on about it five years ago, the fantastic Rambo III parody with Soldier Boy, and then the hysterical Bill Cosby gag with Soldier Boy and Hughie; my brother showed me that part. Oh, and I know the big twist about Stormfront as my brother is VERY vocal about not being particularly happy about that one being made more literal when he was perfectly fine with the allegory; he expresses that he found it to be lazy writing. And I know that there’s the episode last season that watching it without a breakdown will be difficult. Mainly wanted to catch your opening statement and see how the camera set up is doing. As I said with the new Daryl and Carol reaction, you’ve just about got it. I hear you on the OCD getting triggered by it. Hope you have a good time with the season. I have heard of a new cast member being a part of this season, so you have presumably great acting from said cast member to look forward to. Your big statement was about Chance. Yeah, I had heard news about that, think it was at or around beginning of Spring last year. God, you broke my heart a little bit seeing you tear up talking about that. You spoke of how they worked that into the show, and I believe you’re right. I think from what I heard they were going to do similar to how they addressed John Ritter’s death in Eight Simple Rules. Now if the matter hasn’t been addressed as of the first two episodes, bear in mind, I’m not trying to spoil. And again, I haven’t seen beyond what I mentioned, so I could be talking out of my ass here. In any event, you got me good with the reaction to the “For Chance” dedication. Caught the song for the opener, good pick. And I wish you all the best with the season, Jess. Hope you enjoy it.
