Here's an amusing aside about Edward Peel who played Kane in this story. During the 90s he appeared in a series of commercials for a car insurance company called Direct Line Insurance. When he went to switch his own car insurance to the same company they refused to insure him. He went public about it and caused the company some embarrassment.
