This is the render setup for the Crochet tutorial. It elaborates on the tutorial with some VEX to create center points for all the lines to be able to copy strand geometry on them. And it adds knots to the intersections.

Hi Kieran, as we unique the points of the polys with "Vertex Split" before feeding them to "convertline" we end up with double lines, that have the same point locations. The two nodes you are mentioning are there to remove theses double primitive to save processing time. In the file they do nothing though, because a fuse node right before "screate_edge_centers" is missing. This is an error. My bad, sorry for that. Just drop a fuse node in there. Then the prims will share the same points and the two nodes will do their job. Thank you, nice find. Best Manuel

hi guys, sorry a bit late on looking through this. Love the setup with the knots and strands copied to points. Don't quite understand the part where you 'create ordered point pairs' and 'delete duplicates'. The two nodes don't seem to have any effect on the geo when turned off and we seem to blast away all of the original points anyway right after those two nodes. Where they debug or testing nodes, or am I missing their purpose? thanks, Kieran
