Volumes 101 - Something New

If you feel there are (volume) topics that still need to be covered, please let us know in the comments! We might publish an addendum to the course if we feel the need, but for now we'd like to focus on bringing you an introduction to VEX as soon as possible.

Absolutely agree your idea!!! Brian!!! I also want to learn the VEX in a system way not like a puzzle style. And I also feel much much better to explain the theory first before dive into houdini nodes, this way can make me more clear to know what is the next step, then I can think which node I should use not only follow the tutorial.

2018-03-01 17:23:41 +0000 UTCI have to disagree with those saying that the basic VEX course isn't worthwhile. I've been looking all over for more foundational learning content on this topic. I've seen Rohan's intro to Vex many times and I often visit Matt Estela's wiki. These are great pieces of the puzzle and I appreciate the resources they provide. However, I feel that with them, I walk away with knowledge of how to do a specific setup but not necessarily the underlying concepts of why they work. I don’t want to duplicate setups. I want to understand the concepts and use that knowledge to create something new. The way you guys present information with theory first and execution second will really help those of us that are less experienced in this topic. I feel that’s the type of foundational VEX content that is currently difficult to find and is very much needed. Thanks for putting the course together!
