Great suggestions Bekah- I'm taking notes. But as for sampling different ASMRtists, why would I want to try the rest when I started with the best?!? I do see your point though- get exposed to as many variations as possible. But just remember, you were my first... ; ) Henning- you might be right - maybe tingles and sleepiness don't go together. But anyway, the relaxation is well-worth the ride even if I never get a tingle or a shiver.

Oh! And one more thing: it's possible you don't get tingles from certain microphones. The 3dio is used by many but it's rare that I get tingles from it except for a couple of artists who just somehow make the difference for me. Try finding "lo-fi" videos or really new artists who are using headphone mics or the Yeti, for example.

Hey Neel! Two things are true: Not everyone experiences tingles but some people simply have very specific and unique triggers. Not to mention not all triggers are done the same way by every artist. One particular ASMRtist might do tapping JUST right for your brain, but other tapping might do nothing for you. Someone's voice might be perfect, but others less so. Some tips: - Make sure to wear headphones whenever you listen. - Play around with volume. Some people get tingles with max volume, some prefer it to be quieter. - Keep clicking related ASMR videos so you can try out lots of different artists and lots of different triggers. - Experiment with how much you focus on the video. For me, the times I get maximum tingles are when a video plays in another tab while I'm focusing on something else like work or browsing the internet. More often than not, I'll listen to 2 or 3 videos in other tabs at the same time. And it's not the same if I'm lying in my bed at night listening with the screen off, because the video is the only thing to focus on. Others might find it more tingly if they give their full attention to the video with no distractions, looking right in the artist's eyes via video. - If you can, try to watch ASMR sparingly. Watching several videos every day might be burning out your tingles somehow, even if you haven't found the right triggers yet. That way it becomes a unique experience and you're more likely to get tingles than if you're overexposed every day. - Try different headphones. Just like different microphones lead to a different audio experience, so do headphones! If you're listening to really cheap headphones that have poor bass, that can be taking away your tingle opportunity as well. I find the most tingles with bassy sounds. Hope some of that helps!

Yeah, I didn't get tingles either. I just watch this channel because her videos relaxes me and help with anxiety. And help me fallong asleep :) I still feel like I'm missing out, but it seems like the effects i mentioned above wont take shape if i'm constantly getting shivers xD You shouldn't worry til much about it i think. Maybe you just haven't discovered the sounds that work for your tingles yet:)

Question to Bekah and/or her patrons: I'm an ASMR newbie (~ 1 month) but it only took me a couple of days to become a patron. My question is about tingles- I'm wondering if I'm totally missing the boat. When I hear one of Bekah's vids with whispers or mouth sounds, I can kind of manufacture a shiver, but I get the impression from you guys that I might not quite be there. Help please? (Also, if this is the wrong forum for such a question, please give a newbie a break and just point me where I should go)
