September Projects 2025

August was not a very productive month because I was pretty busy with work and had some health issues as well. However, I will have more time to keep up with some projects and new ideas I have in mind during the coming weeks.

[Fan-art progress report]

I am really surprised by how AI artworks have overtaken pixiv daily art feeds. AI generated illustrations look quite well each time I look at them and their inconsistencies or errors are surprisingly less noticeable. Although it may feel like a somewhat disvadvantageous competition in terms of time production, I think it can be quite useful to find posing and background ideas, color palette sources, etc.

This illustration was inspired by one of NO. Chachamaru Sensei sketchy dojin scenes. Mature female characters he usually draws are really voluptuous, and expressive. The only issue is proportions. [Fan-art Project]

One of 山文京伝 Sensei last works finally was published not too long ago. Although the plot did not move in the pace I expected, it looked good enough to wait for a continuation. I decided to work on a fan art based on the main characters. 好美さん is the only one who is shown on the dojin cover with colors.

ワンピース Project [Request]

This illustration is a commission request I worked during this month. I was asked to make a special scene with several characters in the same composition being Boa Hancok and Luffy the main stars.

Progress Report

This work has been completed. For the coloring, I looked for references from the original series but the posing and style was inspired by works from artists such as [アガタ] and [平成茶々丸堂].

息子の野球チーム A [WIP 6]

I started this project in December (2023) with the idea of sharing it during Christmas Eve. However, I was short in time and did not find good references for the posing and coloring. In fact, I still don't know what to do about the background.

By the way, this fan-art was inspired by [山文京伝] works. I am trying to use the character design style from artists such as [西安] and the one from [ダイヤのA] series.

Monsters of the Sea Project

[Fan-art Project]

This project was conceived long ago. I just happened to come across with one of the animated scenes from [吉野もみぢ] original games and decided to make a fan art.

The original game is called "Monsters of the Sea" and there are three volumes. If I am not wrong, this title was released in 2009. Unfortunately, the author did not continue with the plot. The animation was very smooth.

This is another project inspired by [山文京伝] works. I tried to make an illustration based in a small panel from [山姫の実 夕子AFTER]. It's the scene when [良太くん] enters the room where [夕子] is "interacting" with his friends.

I used different references for each character. There was a cool colored illustration that made me think of [夕子] which has been very useful for the color palette. In the case of [良太くん] friends, I had a look at "Diamond no Ace" art...

唯子と聖満

This work was conceived for last year Valentine's Day (2023). It was originally made as a monochrome illustration inspired from one of my favorite scenes in [月下香の檻] adult manga series by [山文京伝]. It took me quite some time to go back and add colors.

The original references for the pose and character design were inspired by [すぎぢー] lovely works and Miyabi Tsuzuru's as well. For the background, I toyed with lighting and colors over pieces of low quality pictures....

Prison School Project [Dec]

I started this simple colored project by the end of November. I was asked to work on a very interesting Prison School Fan-art. I am not a fan of that animated show, but the quality of the animation and character design was quite good. The paying guest requested Hana specifically for the main role with an original male partner. Original characters are very challenging because they have to look closer to the way guests conceive them in their minds.
